Abstract: The bed frame (100) comprises a first and a second transverse element (1, 2), made of metal having a box shape, respectively arranged close to the headboard (10) and the front head (11) of the bed (L), mutually connected by a pair of longitudinal elements (6). Said first and second transverse elements (1, 2) support bed joineries (8, 9), arranged inside the aforementioned longitudinal elements (6), suitable to act as spacers to support a bed base (12) on which the mattress (M) of the bed (L) itself is placed. By appropriately calibrating the height of the bed joineries (8, 9), which are interchangeable, according to the greater or lesser thickness of the mattress (M), it is obtained that the height from the ground of the upper horizontal side (20) of the latter, as well as its protrusion with respect to the upper edges of the longitudinal elements 6, are almost constant.

The movable frames (25 A), (25B) can swing up to 180° independently of one another, for aligning a respective portion (14A), (14B) of said upper section (14) from an external horizontal position (HE) to an internal horizontal position (HI), passing through a vertical neutral position (N) in which the same portion (14A), (14B) is substantially aligned with said lower section (13). In a sofa (D) or an armchair (P) in which the backrest (100) and the armrests (110) are defined by respective cushions (1), many possible configurations of the same are possible, in order to offer maximum seating comfort.

The movable frames (25A), (25B) can rotate by 180° independently from each other, to direct a respective portion (14A), (14B) of said upper section (14) from an external horizontal configuration (HE) to an inner horizontal configuration (HI), passing through a vertical neutral configuration (N), in which the portion (14A), (14B) is substantially aligned with said lower section (13). The back (100) and sides (110) of a sofa (D) or armchair (P) are defined by respective elements (1), which can be configured in many ways so as to offer the maximum sitting comfort.

Abstract: A sofa or bed structure has a seat and a variable-setting back and has a device for coupling the seat frame together with legs and a back set. The device is made up of a plate having a seat for the rotational coupling with the seat frame and a coaxial pivot insertable into a bush integral with a radial structure fixed to supporting legs. A restrainer on the seat frame ensures the stability of the position reached. The combination allows the seat frame and back to assume a wide variety of positions, through rotation of the seat frame in relation to the back set or through moving of the back set in relation to the seat frame.
