Abstract: An object is to provide a test method for pancreatic cancer, and further to provide a test method for pancreatic cancer capable of detecting pancreatic cancer even at earlier stages. The objects are solved by a method for examining the likelihood of having pancreatic cancer, the method including (1) measuring the amount of at least one anti-carbohydrate antibody selected from the group consisting of anti-3-sialyllactose carbohydrate antibody and anti-(LN)3 carbohydrate antibody in a biological sample obtained from a subject, wherein the anti-3-sialyllactose carbohydrate antibody is an antibody capable of binding to a carbohydrate represented by Neu5Ac? (2?3) Gal? (1?4) Glc or an antibody recognizing the carbohydrate, and wherein the anti-(LN)3 carbohydrate antibody is an antibody capable of binding to a carbohydrate represented by Gal?1?3GlcNAc?1?3Gal?1?4GlcNAc or an antibody recognizing the carbohydrate.
