    Abstract: Systems, methods, and sets for capturing and reproducing a binaural recording are provided. In one embodiment, an audio cable is disclosed for connecting a pair of binaural-recording earpieces of the present invention to one or more analog and/or digital audio devices, including but not limited to, cameras, videorecorders, smart phones, audio players and storage devices, and the like. The audio cable of the present disclosure provides for a binaural recording captured from earpieces of the present invention to be received by the one or more analog and/or digital audio devices as an audio input.

The microphone is coupled to the frame for capturing ambient sound, and adapted to be positioned outside the ear canal and substantially coplanar with a tragus of the ear.
