Patents Assigned to EGRO AG
  • Patent number: 6959642
Abstract: A delivery head for delivering a milk portion is connected via a connection line to a milk container in a refrigerator. A rinsing agent source is connected via a first line to a connection part in the connection line. A first on-off valve is inserted in the first line. The connection part is also connected via a second line and a second valve to a fresh air source. The container, the valves, and the connection part are installed in a refrigerator. Through this implementation, complete emptying of the connection line and the delivery head of rinse water after the rinsing procedure, as well as efficient rinsing during the rinsing procedure, are achieved.

  • Patent number: 6149084
Abstract: A coffee grinder which may be used in the hotel industry is positioned at an oblique angle to the vertical and makes it possible for several coffee grinders for different types of coffee to be accommodated in a minimal space. Coffee beans are fed into a grinding mill having fixed and rotating grinding wheels. The distance between the grinding wheels is adjustable. An ejection opening for discharge of the ground coffee powder allows the powder to be ejected tangentially and under the influence of gravity from the grinding mill.

  • Patent number: 6101923
Abstract: A coffee machine has a low overall height and allows an attractive aesthetic design to be achieved in its execution. A brewing block comprising brewing chambers is guided over a circular path, the chambers adopting three different operating positions. Brewing plungers and straining/expelling plungers move axially in the brewing chambers. Drive and control of the brewing assembly is effected by way of spur gears and cam discs which are housed in two cam disc housings located opposite one another. In accordance with a method according to the invention, the rotation to the three positions takes place in steps of 30 degrees, with resetting taking place through 60 degrees.

  • Patent number: 4425958
Abstract: With low-pressure or die-casting methods there frequently occur leaks during the transfer of the molten metal from the metal containing basin or vessel to the mold. These leaks often lead to serious accidents and related operating interruptions. According to the invention these problems are solved by a casting method, wherein all movements of the mold occur in a vertical plane. With a preferred embodiment of apparatus for the performance of the method the mold is placed in a positive or form-locking manner with its casting or pour opening upon the casting hole of the metal containing vessel or basin and pressed against the latter in a fluidtight fashion by means of a pneumatic lifting cylinder. This affords the advantage of a simple connection of the mold with the basin and without requiring a coupling mechanism, and, additionally, the heating of the riser or up tube and/or immersion tube can be omitted, which otherwise conventionally was performed by gas heating.
