  • Patent number: 12272226
Abstract: A protection system for a power tool is disclosed having a battery pack. The batter pack may be used with the power tool to supply an electrical consumer of the power tool with electrical energy, as well as hearing protection for a user of the power tool. The battery pack has a first control circuit, which is set up to, directly or indirectly, provide information relating to a value of an operating parameter of the power tool to a second control circuit of a hearing protector. The hearing protector has an audio output device, and the second control circuit is set up for this purpose, the audio output device uses the transmitted information to control generation of an audible warning output.

  • Patent number: 12272804
Abstract: A control system is disclosed for an electric tool and a lighting device. The control system includes a first control circuit and a sensor for the electric tool and a second control circuit for the lighting device. The sensor is configured to generate a sensor signal depending on a value of an operating parameter of the electric tool. The first control circuit is configured to transmit information relating the operating parameter value to the second control circuit depending on the sensor signal. The second control circuit is configured to control a light source of the lighting device depending on the transmitted information to emit one or more light pulses, wherein a pulse parameter relating to a pulse duration, a pulse amplitude, a frequency, and/or a duty cycle of the light pulses, and/or emitted light intensity, depends on the operating parameter value.

  • Patent number: 12124306
Abstract: A method is disclosed for project support in using an electric appliance with a battery pack. The method includes storing project data relating to at least a part of a sequence of project steps on a data storage of the battery pack, wherein the project data includes, for each project step, associated user information. For a predetermined project step of the sequence of project steps, the associated user information is output in visual and/or acoustic form by means of an output device of the battery pack. The user information and/or further user information for the predetermined project step are output in visual and/or acoustic form and/or provided for retrieval by a user by means of at least one external computing unit.

  • Patent number: 11532842
Abstract: The invention relates to a battery management system for a lithium ion battery of an electrical appliance, in particular an electrical hand tool or electrical gardening tool, which is configured in order to determine a difference between a current required by the electrical appliance and a predetermined measuring current which can be provided electrochemically by means of the lithium ion battery, and to cover the difference using a dielectric capacitance of the lithium ion battery in so far as this does not result in departure from predetermined acceptable operating states of the lithium ion battery. The invention further relates to a method for operating a lithium ion battery of an electrical appliance.

  • Patent number: 11118589
Abstract: The invention relates to water pump, in particular a garden pump or a pump of a home water machine, which has a pump unit in a housing (GE), which pump unit can be driven by means of an electric motor and can pump water form a suction line (SL) to a pressure line (DL) as a conveyed liquid, wherein the housing comprises a pump housing (PG) connected to the suction line and a housing extension (GF) having the pressure line, which housing extension adjoins the pump housing, wherein the housing extension has a filter unit (FT) as a termination and an at least partially transparent window (FE) is arranged between the suction line and the pressure line such that a liquid level (FL) within the housing can be read on the pump housing from the outside before operation of the pump, and wherein the filter unit has a suction indicator (SA) such that the presence of suction pressure in the pump housing can be detected via the suction indicator or a leak at the suction line can be detected.
