    Abstract: Different designs of hand-held devices for therapeutic skin treatment by application of heat are known. Inexpensive hand-held devices use heat radiation. In practice, however, there is no inexpensive hand-held device available that can be placed on the skin to be treated and that operates according to the principle of heat conduction and allows the skin to be treated within a defined temperature range without the use of a temperature sensor and control elements.
