Abstract: The combination of a domed cover for a container wherein the cover has an outwardly biased flange designed to flex inward to snap-lock disposition with an inwardly biased rim of the underlying container, and a skirt portion formed intermediate the flange and the walls of the cover.

Abstract: A disposable cooking pan is provided which is formed from a single sheet of thin gauge metal. The pan includes a bottom panel which is delimited by a continuous upwardly and outwardly extending wall panel. Extending laterally outwardly from the upper edge portion of the wall panel is a continuous rim. The rim includes a planar outwardly extending inner section and a bead-like outer section which encompasses a multilateral area including the inner section. Relatively spaced, enlarged areas are formed in the rim inner section and are disposed adjacent portions of the rim outer section defining corners in the multilateral areas. Elongated strengthening ribs are provided in the enlarged areas of the rim inner section and extend from adjacent the rim outer section to the upper edge portion of the wall panel.

Abstract: There is disclosed a one piece synthetic resin molded bakery tray, without moving parts and without any additional parts, that can be stackable at a plurality of levels, and preferably nestable due to top to bottom functional symmetry. Substantial or even identical symmetry may be provided. Such symmetry may also be with respect to rotation of the tray about a central vertical axis. Interlocking portions are provided symmetrically on the top and bottom edges of high side walls, and a bakery product support partition is provided at a midplane of the walls. Stacking ledges may be provided at an intermediate height from the partition on each high wall for cooperating with the interlocking portions to provide an intermediate stacking position. Complementary interlocking portions may be provided on each surface of the partition adjacent each high side wall for cooperation with interlocking portions of the high side walls to obtain a low stacking position. Identical trays may be rotated 90.degree.

Abstract: A stacking and nesting container, particularly a bakery tray, is provided with bails on two opposed sidewall top edges that are pivotable between a nesting position when the trays may be nested within each other and a stacking position wherein a like tray may have its bottom supported by the bails of a lower tray, and the entire structure is molded of synthetic resin material, without metal parts or separate hinge components. The hinge for the bails is formed by pins molded into the bails and fit within self locking bearing aperature of the sidewalls.

Abstract: The combination of a circular container and cover having their rim and flange, respectively, formed to provide multiple, equally spaced locking means. The container and cover have a plurality of spaced notches and handles, respectively, formed on their outer side walls, said notches and handles providing means for handling and manipulating the container and cover for relative rotational movement therebetween to effectuate said locking means.

Abstract: A baking pan comprising a bottom wall and side walls formed from a single blank of sheet metal having smooth inner and outer wall surfaces and providing corners connecting the adjacent side walls which are substantially thicker than the side walls. The terminal portions of the side walls remote from the bottom wall having flange portions formed to impart rigidity to the pan and provide securement means to other pans when positioned in a side-by-side relationship. A circumferential band encompassing multiple pans in a side-by-side relationship to complete the assembly of pans.
