Abstract: There is described a seat module for use in furniture for sitting, the seat module comprising a backrest (1) and a seat (2) and a coupling element (3), the backrest (1) being adapted to run along rear grooves (7) arranged in respective sides of the coupling element at its rear edge, a rear portion of the seat (2) is connected to the backrest (1) and a front portion of the seat (2) is adapted to run along front grooves (9) arranged in respective sides of the coupling element in its leading edge. The seat module further comprises a tilting mechanism (15-19) connecting the coupling element with a support member or base (4).

Abstract: Balance joint (1, 101) suitable for attachment between a seat arrangement (6, 106) and a chair leg arrangement (7, 107). The balance joint comprises first and second mountings (2, 3, 102, 103) together forming a hollow space and at least one hinge pin (4, 104). The mountings (2, 3, 12, 103) are rotatably attached to each other by means of the at least one hinge pin, where at least one elastic packing (5, 105) is arranged in the hollow space and the at least one elastic packing is arranged between the mountings so that the possibilities for expansion of the elastic packing is limited by the mountings (2, 3, 102, 103) in at least two directions. It is also described various furniture using such a balance joint.

Abstract: A sitting arrangement (1) is disclosed. Said sitting arrangement includes a support frame (2), seat part (4) and backrest (3). The seat part (4) is articulately connected to the support frame (2) in at least one mounting mechanism (8a, b) located below a sitting surface of the seat part (4). At least one balance spring (14) is mounted between the seat part (4) and the support frame (2). The sitting arrangement may be used as an element of a chair, settee or longseat.

Abstract: It is described a neck rest where the cushion 1 is rotatably and eccentrically mounted on a mounting stay 2. The mounting stay is attached in a cushion by means of sector shaped hinges 3. The friction between the stay and cushion can be regulated by means of a wheel.

Abstract: Chaise longue comprising a sofa frame (2), seat part (4) and back rest (3). The seat part (4) comprises side bars (9a, b), cross bars (10a, b) and seat springs (7). The seat part (4) is rotatably connected to the sofa frame (2) by means of mounting devices (8a, b) below the sitting surface of the seat part. One or more balance springs (14) are arranged between the seat part (4) and the sofa frame (2). A shutter or flap (16) is rotatably mounted to the seat part with pivotable joints (17a,b). The flap is furthermore rotatably connected to the sofa frame in point at the opposite end from the joints.

The profile can be cast-in into the table top, or the table top can be laminated around the profile. The profile includes a through bore having a number of longitudinal grooves. A shaft is arranged to be directed through the bore. A sleeve terminates the shaft at one end. The sleeve includes a number of locking lugs arranged to engage into the grooves of the profile.
