Abstract: A room air ionizer which includes a housing having an air inlet and an air outlet, a fan for drawing air into the housing through the air inlet and for blowing air out of the housing through the air outlet, negative ion-producing electrodes located between the fan and the air outlet and a high-voltage generator electrically connected to the electrodes, the improvement wherein a mounting plate which includes a plurality of adjustable ball nozzles is positioned over the air outlet, each of the ball nozzles being individually rotatable to determine in what direction the air with negative ions passing therethrough will flow.
