Abstract: A container (10) with a rectangular access opening (12) is closable by a rectangular door (14), which is turnably journalled on the container by a rod (22) having downwardly directed pins (26) journalled in the container (10) and upwardly directed pins (28) journalled in the door (14), so that the door (14) can be opened about 270.degree. relative to the container (10).

Abstract: A probe assembly includes at least two electrodes for measuring a potential difference between two measurement sites of a tissue of a human or animal organ and at least one sensor for measuring the tissue temperature. The probe assembly further includes a common support on which are placed the electrodes and the sensor. The support comprises conductors for linking the electrodes and the sensor to a signal processing unit with a view to calculating the tissue pH of the organ.

Abstract: A jacket (10) for keeping a transplant (46) cold during the time the transplant in surgical way is connected to a receiver comprises a wall (12, 14) with a cavity (22) containing a frozen liquid, which melts under absorption of heat from the transplant. Before the transplant is placed in the jacket (10), the liquid, e.g. water, is frozen by being subjected to vacuum, vapour released from the liquid being absorbed by a substance, e.g. zeolite.

Abstract: A transport assembly which is particularly suitable for transporting medical material, particularly organs and tissues. The assembly includes a tissue container which includes a lid having a clamping assembly associated therewith for clamping an organ. In addition, a reservoir bag and collector bag are respectively connected to the tissue container, such that a physiological fluid can be pumped from the reservoir bag to the tissue container, and with fluid exiting the tissue container gathered in the collector bag. A support holder is also provided, and the support holder, tissue container, collector bag, and reservoir bag can be detachably placed in a box for transport.

This container also comprises a disposable aseptic detachable transporting assembly (60) together with a reservoir bag for a physiological fluid, a collector bag for gathering this fluid, a vessel for transporting an organ with a device for suspending the organ, a fluid dispensing element and pipework (66) for connecting this reservoir bag, dispensing element, vessel and collector bag by passing via the pumping unit. Application for the preservation and transporting of live organs to be transplanted.

Abstract: A pot burner has a circularly cylindrical combustion space 10 with openings 60, 62, 64 in its wall for the supply of combustion air and with an inlet in its floor 32 for the liquid fuel. Concentrically in the combustion space 10 there is placed a first cage 28 with a smaller diameter and a second cage 42 with a larger diameter than the circular outlet 18 for the combustion gases. The first cage is shut off at the top by an upper cover wall 26 whereas the second cage 42 is shut off at the top by an annular outer part of the cover wall at a lower level. The second cage 42 is divided into an upper annular chamber 36 and a lower annular chamber 38 by a perforated ring 46. The floor 14 forming the bottom of the combustion space 10 is covered over by a shield 82 to prevent the floor 14 from being cooled by incoming cold air for combustion.

Abstract: Apparatus for cooking and/or heating of air, comprising a hearth having at least one hearth plate and a hinged cover which is arranged at the hearth for overlapping the hearth plate, the cover defining a chamber, a partition being provided between the upper wall and the lower wall of the cover for dividing the chamber into a first section and a second section, a passageway being provided for interconnection of said first section with said second section, an inlet being provided in communication with the upper section and an outlet being provided in communication with the lower section of the chamber, and in which the lower wall of the cover may be brought into heat conducting contact with at least one hearth plate.

Abstract: A refrigerator door of joint parts, an outer shell, an inner door lining and heat insulation. A top frame part and a bottom frame part have a bushing at their ends for a pivot pin or a hinge, the bushing being insertable in a sleeve on a side part of the frame. Thus, the refrigerator door is fabricated at a lower cost than previous similar constructions.
