Abstract: Disclosed are a vehicular electronic device and an operation method thereof. The device includes a processor configured to acquire data of a situation of a vehicle, to determine whether the vehicle is a platooning vehicle based on the data, and to determine any one of vehicles in the group as a representative vehicle that transmits a basic safety message (BSM) as a representative of the group upon determining that the vehicle is the platooning vehicle. Data generated by the vehicular electronic device is transmitted to an external device using a 5G communication method. According to the present disclosure, an electronic device of an autonomous vehicle is associated or fuses with a device related to an artificial intelligence module, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a robot, an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, a 5G service, or the like.

Abstract: A method of transmitting and receiving a PSFCH in a wireless communication system and a device therefor are disclosed. The method performed by a first UE comprises receiving, from a second UE, a first PSCCH including first SCI, receiving, from a third UE, a second PSCCH including second SCI, determining, based on a resource reserved by the first SCI overlapping a resource reserved by the second SCI, a resource conflict in the resource reserved by the first SCI using a RSRP measured based on the first PSCCH and a RSRP measured based on the second PSCCH, and transmitting, to the second UE, the PSFCH including conflict information indicating the resource conflict in the resource.

The system, as the vehicle is approaching an intersection and responsive to processing by a processor of sensor data captured by the sensor, detects a cross-traffic threat approaching the intersection and maintains a buffer to store a trajectory of the cross-traffic threat. The system, using the trajectory, determines an intersection point between the vehicle and the cross-traffic threat, determines an arrival time at the intersection point for both the vehicle and the cross-traffic threat, and determines a difference between the arrival time of the vehicle at the intersection and the cross-traffic threat. The system, responsive to determining that the difference between the arrival time of the equipped vehicle at the intersection and the arrival time of the cross-traffic threat is less than a threshold amount, controls a safety system of the vehicle.
