    Abstract: An apparatus for coding an image is provided to effectively code the image. The apparatus for coding the image includes an input image segmentation unit to segment an input image into a plurality of image blocks including a first image block and a second image block. The apparatus also includes a waveform information generation unit to select a plurality of reference pixels from among pixels included in the first image block, generate first waveform information about the first image block based on a pixel value difference between the selected plurality of reference pixels, and generate second waveform information about the second image block based on a pixel value difference between the pixels included in the second image block. The apparatus also includes a coding unit to code an image included in the second image block based on the first waveform information and the second waveform information.

    Abstract: A network security state visualization scheme is suitable for collecting security events existing in a network, analyzing the security events, categorizing and contracting the analyzed security events into attack state information, and visualizing the attack state information as a three-dimensional (3D) screen to display the visualized information on a display panel. Unlike the related art where security events are expressed from the viewpoint of IPs, this scheme normalizes collected security event information, analyzes the normalized information, categorizes and contracts the analyzed information into the attack state information, extracts visualization target data, visualizes the visualization target data as the 3D screen, and displays the visualized 3D screen on the display panel.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a secure communication method and system. In a wireless communication environment in which there is a wiretapper wiretapping a signal transmitted by a first transmitter to a first receiver, the secure communication method calculates a beamforming vector including first and second beamforming vectors based on channel information between the second transmitter and the first receiver and channel information between the second transmitter and a second receiver, and performs beamforming on the first and second receivers with the calculated beamforming vector. Accordingly, even when it is unable to know channel information of a wiretapper, the secure communication method can satisfy the minimum service-quality requirements of a secondary user and maximize a primary user's secure ability.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a network packet analysis technology that analyzes packet protocols without having preliminary information about the sequence of network packets, and is capable of analyzing the meanings of fields of each network packet, as well as the temporal sequence of the network packets, using pre-stored history sets. For this, the apparatus for analyzing network packets includes a history set generation unit for capturing and synchronizing network packets, input events and screen shots when an application is running, and then generating a plurality of history sets. A history set storage unit stores the plurality of history sets. A packet analysis unit analyzes the plurality of history sets stored in the history set storage unit and then analyzes a temporal sequence of the network packets and individual fields of each network packet.
