Abstract: An antenna includes a feedpoint support plate (10) which is provided with terminal connectors (27, 28) to attach feed wires (25, 26) to dipole lines (31, 32). A balun (33) of one size may be connected to the plate (10) by fastening assemblies (43, 44, 45) received at apertures (29, 30) in the plate (10) and at apertures (41) of the balun (33). Baluns of other sizes may also be connected to the plate (10) by fastening assemblies (64, 65, 66) received at apertures (62, 63) in the plate (10) and at holes (60, 61) provided with the coil (57). The plate (10) can also carry a strain relief bracket (70) which includes grip members (76) which engage the feed line (24) at two spaced locations with a loop (79) formed therebetween to isolate a coupling (34) from any strain.

Abstract: A method for performing a call is disclosed. When a user attempts a call at a certain phone number of another party but ends in a call unavailable state, the user can automatically make a call at another contact of the another party's contacts stored in the phone book of the another party by using call state information provided from a mobile communication network system. The method comprises making a first call at first contact of another party desired for a call connection, receiving call state information with respect to a call unavailable state of the first call if the first call ends in the call unavailable state, analyzing the received call state information and searching a phone book of the another party, and making a second call at second contact read from the phone book of the another party based on the analysis and search.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for driving a plasma display panel for preventing and a spot misfire and a miswriting is disclosed. In the method, wall charges are formed at a discharge cell in an initial period. The discharge cell selects discharge cells in an address period. A wall charge control period is arranged between said initialization period and said address period. A wall charge distribution at the discharge cell is controlled in the wall charge control period. Abstract: A digital television and a channel editing method are provided wherein various channel information is edited efficiently. In the channel edit method of the digital TV, the channel information stored according to a user's request is displayed on a multi-window. If the user selects a channel based on the multi-window, the channel selected by the user is tuned by a tuner and displayed as a moving picture. The user can edit the corresponding channel referring to the multi-window. In another embodiment, the user can edit the set favorite channel(s) separately. The broadcast status of all channels can be recognized almost instantaneously by viewing the multi-window displaying all the broadcast programs of multiple channels.

Abstract: A method of fabricating a flexible film is provided. The method includes opening an imide ring on a polyimide film; applying a catalyst to the polyimide film; removing tin from the catalyst; forming a first metal film on the polyimide film; drying the polyimide film having the first metal film at a temperature of 110-200° C.; and forming a second metal film on the first metal film. According to the method, it is possible to fabricate a flexible film without a requirement of an adhesive layer and thus provide a flexible film with excellent physical properties such as excellent plating properties, high adhesive strength, high heat resistance, high drug resistance, excellent migration properties and high folding endurance.

Finally, a security module/engine/unit is provided for data security via user authentication data encryption/decryption of the device. Abstract: An optimal recording apparatus and method for optical recording media are disclosed which are capable of recording data on the optical recording medium under optimum conditions in an optical recording/reproducing apparatus. In accordance with the optimal recording apparatus and method, a reference power value recorded on an optical recording medium is first read out. Test data is then recorded onto a first field of a test data in the optical recording medium under a condition in which a recording power value is varied with reference to the read power value. The test data recorded on the first field is subsequently reproduced in order to determine an optimum recording power value from the reproduced characteristics. Based on the determined optimum recording power value, test data is recorded on a second field of the test area under a condition in which a format of recording signals is varied. The test data recorded on the second field is subsequently reproduced in order to determine an optimum write strategy.

Abstract: A method for receiving data in a mobile terminal and the apparatus thereof according to the present invention can reduce the areas incapable of data reception by allowing a user's mobile terminal to receive data from a first mobile terminal with a good data reception state that receives data from a base station, rather than the user's mobile terminal directly receiving data from the base station. The user's mobile terminal receives the received data from the first mobile terminal having the good reception state by a wireless communication method.
