Abstract: The present invention relates to an electronic device, comprising a modem which: when simultaneously connected to a master cell group according to a first communication mode and a secondary cell group according to a second communication mode, if a transmission power of a first uplink signal transmitted to the master cell group is greater than or equal to a preset maximum transmission power, controls a plurality of power amplification units such that transmission of a second uplink signal to be transmitted to the secondary cell group is deferred; and, if the transmission of the second uplink signal remains deferred for a preset time period, stops the transmission of the first uplink signal for a certain period of time and transmits the second uplink signal, thereby maintaining connectivity to the secondary cell group even when the transmission of the second uplink signal is deferred.
