Abstract: A system and apparatus for the management and intervention of neurocognitive-related conditions and diseases. The intervention may be implemented in the form of a wearable device providing one or more features of medication adherence, voice, data, SMS reminders, alerts, location via SMS, and 911 emergency. The device may function in combination with an application software accessible to multiple clients (users) executable on a remote server to provide patient support of memory, social contact, daily activities, safety as well as support for caregivers, and feedback for healthcare providers in the management of neurocognitive and neurodegenerative conditions, syndromes, and diseases including dementia and AD.

Abstract: A notification system includes a database network, the database network configured to store a medication schedule of a patient; a voice translation service in communication with the database network; and a notification device comprising a processor configured to wirelessly communicate with at least one of database network and the voice translation service, the processor contained in a housing, the housing configured for attachment to the patient, a portion of the housing comprising a display panel; and a memory in communication with the processor, wherein the memory stores executable instructions for causing the processor to provide a visual reminder, at the display panel, of a medication event in the patient's medication schedule, transmit to the voice translation service a voice signal corresponding to an utterance of the patient; and receive from the voice translation service a verbal response to the utterance.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for a transaction apparatus for secure data storage and consolidation of medication adherence, health and wellness data for easy implementation and utilization during a transaction. The transaction apparatus may be configured, in various embodiments, for receiving, storing, encrypting, decrypting, encoding, decoding, accessing, transferring, writing, and/or presenting transaction data including, but not limited to, health care data, medication adherence data, wellness data, location data, authentication data, identification data, access data, personal data, and/or other data associated with a user. As such, the transaction apparatus may receive data from a user and store the data. The user may then provide authorization to access the data. The user may then select the data to be copied to an output device associated with the apparatus.

Abstract: A wearable wireless communication device incorporating one or more 3D-antennas into a housing frame of the device using Laser Directed Structuring (LDS). The device dimensions are chosen as to position the antennas at optimum separation distance to limit the amount of SAR exposure to the user. One or more antennas operate in conjunction with a metal ground plane extension element of the wearable device. The metal ground plane extension is conductively coupled to a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) ground plane of the wireless communication device. The ground plane extension element together with the ground plane provided by the FPCB effectively increases the equivalent resonant length thereof, to excite one or more resonant modes of an antenna incorporated in the device housing frame, expanding the operation bandwidth of the communication device. One or more Matching Network is used to tune the impedances of the antennas.
