Abstract: A pump of very simple, low-cost structure include a hollow stem slidable within a cup-shaped body and acting as a compression piston, and a valving element housing an elongate rod movable in the cavity within the stem and provided with a conical collar which is urged by a spring to engage and seal against a conical seat within the stem, so that liquid delivery occurs snapwise when the conical collar disengages the conical seat within the stem.
Abstract: The invention relates to a manually actuated nasal dispenser, suitable for dispensing a liquid single dose in atomized form retained in a chamber which is part of the dispenser. The liquid consisting of or containing a substance having pharmaceutical activity, for instance calcitonin. The nasal dispenser has a very simple structure, it assures a perfect seal and insulation of the liquid retained in it till the moment of its use, and it is made in such a way that the dispensing of the liquid in atomized form occurs only after at least a minimum pressure having a predetermined value has been given, thus avoiding droppings of the liquid outside of the dispenser discharging nozzle.
Abstract: The invention relates to a nasal dispenser for atomizing pharmaceutical substances which is of elongate form and is traversed by a longitudinal channel having an open end for housing the free end of the stem of a pump or dispensing valve, its other end being intercepted by a wall provided with a hole through which the substance is dispensed. The channel has a stepped cross-section which is a minimum in proximity to said wall. The channel houses an elongate element the cross-sections of which are smaller than their surrounding cross-sections of the channel into which the element is inserted. The length of the portion of smaller cross-section of the profiled element is greater than the length of the minimum cross-section portion of said channel to define an expansion chamber within it.
Abstract: The device comprises a distributor provided with an operating member for a counting device of doses of fluid associated with a mouth of a container, a ring nut for fastening the distitributor onto the mouth and resilient element suitable for transforming the translatory motion of said operating member with respect to the ring nut in a rotatory and axially reciprocating motion of a rotating and axially translatable element to cause the appearance of a different numerical index provided on the rotating element at an observation position obtained in the control member.
