Abstract: A portable apparatus having an electronic control system and a control method thereof are provided. The portable apparatus comprises an operation system, an accessing device and a basic input/output system (BIOS), and the electronic control system comprises a G-sensor and an embedded controller (EC) for initializing the G-sensor, wherein the G-sensor senses the acceleration of the portable apparatus and compares the acceleration value with the threshold value. The operation system comprises an application program (AP) and an advanced configuration and power interface (ACPI). When the acceleration value is higher than the threshold value, the G-sensor sends out a first signal to the EC, and the EC sends out a second signal to the BIOS, and the BIOS sends out a third signal to the ACPI, and the ACPI sends out a fourth signal to the AP to give a park command for parking the reading head of the accessing apparatus.

Abstract: A power control circuit is provided. The circuit is adapted for an advanced configuration and power interface (ACPI) controller to transform output signals of a chipset which outputs a STR (Suspend to RAM) control signal and a power control signal. The circuit generates control signals of the ACPI controller by performing logical operations on the STR control signal and the power control signal. The control signals of the ACPI controller are used to regulate the power supply state of a host system.

Abstract: The invention provides an input/output port (I/O port) switch structure of an electronic device. The electronic device comprises a motherboard, and an opening is installed on a predetermined position of the electronic device. The switch structure is installed on the motherboard of the electronic device and a corresponding opening is installed on a side of the electronic device. The I/O port switch structure comprises a base and an operation unit, wherein the base is electrically connected to the motherboard and is used for installing a plurality of I/O ports with different functions. The operation portion is connected to the base to let the base perform a rotating motion at a predetermined angle, and the user can therefore switch and use the required I/O port by operating switch elements.

Abstract: A sub-circuit configuration allowing an external device access to a storage device provided at the host through configuration of a sub-circuit is separated using a power controller from a main circuit configuration in portable electronic device; the power controller being related to a power supply loop to switch among circuit configurations of a main system and its subsystems, and the connection among components of the main and the sub-circuit configurations.

Abstract: A display processing construct utilized in information device, discloses a first and a second display processing devices. The display signal outputs from the first and second display processing devices are against the switches separately, wherein the switching of switches are utilized to choose or control the delivery of display signal from the first or the second display processing devices to the displayer. Further a selector is used to control or choose the contact of the switch of the first or second display processing devices so as to deliver the display signal from the first or the second display processing devices to the displayer and contain the power supply module to offer the power to said selected display processing device. The user can choose the appropriate display processing device according to the desirable effectiveness of the displaying and further advance the function of the information device and save the power of the battery.

The transforming apparatus receives the image signal and an audio signal provided by an external source and integrates them into a video signal. Abstract: An input apparatus and input method thereof are disclosed. The input apparatus includes an input interface, a processing unit and an execution unit. The input interface is a touch screen or a touch panel that is provided for a user to input a handwritten track with a stroke by utilizing a finger or a stylus. The processing unit then analyzes and compares with the turning trend of the handwritten track with a predetermined handwritten track. Lastly, the execution unit executes a predetermined corresponding function based on the degree of the similarity between the two turning trends.

The TV image conversion device is electrically coupled to a computer enabling a user to operate a computer on-off switch on the multimedia remote control to turn the computer on or off wirelessly rather than walk to a computer to either turn the computer on or off by pressing an on/off switch on the computer. By utilizing this, the above drawback of incapable of turning a computer on or off by means of a remote control as experienced by the prior art can be overcome.

The spring is used to restore the original included angle between the two objects.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide an apparatus for storing data comprising a substantially parallelepiped housing, a connector provided at one end of the housing, and at least one volatile memory, a control circuit and power supply means provided therein, wherein the power supply means is able to supply power to both the volatile memory for storing data and the control circuit for maintaining its normal operation. In response to an insertion of the connector to an electronic device, data received from the electronic device via the connector is then processed by the control circuit and then stored in the volatile memory for substantially being read by the electronic device via the control circuit.
