Abstract: The invention relates to a sensor positioning device for use on a vial in a lyophilisation process, a sensor unit including such a device, and a method of mounting a sensor in a stopper for a vial. The sensor positioning device comprises a stopper for closing an opening in a neck of the vial. A cable passage is provided in the stopper and has a first passage section extending through a first part of the stopper. A second passage section is provided between the first passage section and an outer rim and a sub-section thereof extends away from an exterior surface and is located at a distance from the first passage section in a direction parallel to the exterior surface. In the sensor unit at least two bends are provided on the cable. The invention also relates to a sensor positioning device comprising a stopper, a spacer and a connector.

Abstract: A challenge device for use with a measuring unit for testing steam sterilization efficiency, the challenge device comprising a measuring chamber, a first opening for insertion of a first temperature sensor of the measuring unit in the measuring chamber, and a second opening allowing air exchange between surroundings and the measuring chamber, where said air exchange is achieved by a hollow air flow passage. The measuring chamber is closed except for the first and second openings, and the air flow passage includes an outlet, which is located at a distance from the second opening in the direction of the length axis. The invention further relates to a method of manufacture of a challenge device.

Abstract: A data collector for use in monitoring a lyophilisation process of a product in a test product container in a lyophilisation chamber, said data collector comprising a battery, a measuring device including an electronics unit and a sensor configured for being arranged in said test product container, a first compartment in a first portion, a second compartment in a second portion, a first end surface configured for resting on the support surface, and a second end surface opposite to the first end surface, wherein said first and second portions are arranged side-by-side when seen in a plane defined by the first end surface, and wherein the battery is housed in the first compartment and the electronics unit of the measuring device is housed in the second compartment, such that the battery and the electronics unit are separate from each other.
