Abstract: The present invention provides a thermodynamic cracking process wherein the cracking takes place in a cyclone reactor and in a riser of varying areas under the influence of a rotating and turbulent fluidised energy carrier which is put in motion in a fluidised regenerator by injection of combustion gases or air. A cracking unit is also described.

Abstract: A catalytic cracking process is described wherein the cracking takes place in a reactor under the influence of a rotating fluidized bed catalyst and compressed gases and/or steam is injected in order to effect movement of the catalyst bed.

Abstract: A process for thermal and, optionally, catalytic upgrading and hydrogenation of hydrocarbons is described, wherein the hydrocarbons (oil) with a lower API grade is passed through one or more reactors connected in parallell or in series, preferably in series, in liquid state where it under pressure and intense agitation at a given temperature is thermally upgraded by increasing API, and that the product is discharged in liquid state, and whereby the agitation is effected by whipping elements, optionally made of a catalytic material acting as a catalyst in upgrading the oil in the reactor.
