Abstract: Provided is a method and/or system that facilitates offline sharing and verifying digital identity claims among NFC enabled portable smart devices that are enabled by enabling applications. The enabled portable smart-devices store, verify and share identity, peer to peer and offline. Each identity claim is digitally signed by an identity issuing authority, and the claim can be verified to reliably detect tampering of the claim and thus brings trust in the process of claim sharing and verifying the identity/credentials embodied in the claim. Either Blockchain or non-blockchain, as the backend system of the method/system, can be used, via an inter-operable middleware layer, for onboarding claim holders, claim verifiers, and claim issuers, and for creating/issuing, for managing digital identity claims. NFC, as the communication protocol, facilitates secure data sharing among the NFC-enabled devices.

Abstract: An Arabic information extraction apparatus includes one or more processors configured to: receive a query comprising a long query or a short query; extract, using one or more language models, a named entity and a keyword from the query to generate extracted information; classify, using one or more classification models, the query to generate a classified query; convert the classified query and the extracted information into a dense vector representation; and determine and output a similarity match between the dense vector representation and a document vector representation of a knowledge base comprising an Islamic law document.

Abstract: An apparatus for generating an inspection schedule includes one or more processors configured to: receive one or more schedule requests comprising inspector features, establishment features, and penalty features; generate inspector information for an inspector model based on the inspector features; generate establishment information, comprising a probability of imposing a penalty on an establishment of the establishment features, for an establishment model based on the establishment features and the penalty features; and generate, for an inspector of the inspector features using a violation model, the inspection schedule based on the inspector information and the establishment information.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for identifying similar record elements to a query, the method including receiving a query, determining an index for the query, generating candidate records from a reference list to match the query based on the index and applying any one or any combination of a q-gram filter, a length filter, and a shared character count (SCC) filter, determining similarity scores of each of the candidate records identifying records from among the candidate records having a similarity score greater than or equal to a threshold, selecting data records similar to the query based on sorting the selected records according to respective similarity scores, and outputting one or more of the selected data records.
