Abstract: A liquid-carrying container of machine, such as a dishwasher, has a detergent metering device disposed in a boundary wall thereof. The device has a housing with at least one container in which the detergent may be placed and which may be closed with a cover. The cover may be opened and closed with a control unit. The cover moves linearly, quietly, and with a minimal space requirement in a plane which extends parallel to the boundary wall of the machine.

Abstract: An actuator device varies its functional condition from a state of rest to a working state, both stable and has a body receiving a thermal actuator, an electric heater, electric contacting elements and a transmission shaft for the thrust generated by the actuator. A bistable kinematic mechanism uses inclined planes and/or cams.
Abstract: Integrated device for controlling the volume of fluids flowing through electrovalves, fop liquid distributing machines, comprising: an electrovalve (10); an impeller (4) inserted in a duct (B) for the passage of fluids, provided with one or more radial exciters, such as permanent magnets, an outside detector of the angular position of the exciters and a transductor electrically connected to the electrovalve which controls the passage of the liquid, particularly for washing machines.
Abstract: A multifunction pneumatic system designed to control different components for domestic and/or industrial washing machines. The system includes a pneumatic electric pump connected to a manifold from which solenoid valves, controlled by the machine timer are derived. The solenoid valves act by means of tubular conduits on corresponding diaphragm valves acting on different mechanisms such as the closing hook of the loading door, the electric switches, the pressure switch controlling the level of water in the machine tub and similar function.
Abstract: A pneumatic safety device designed to prevent water leakage caused by failure of any washing machine component. Said device comprises one or two pneumatically-actuated valves positioned downstream from the machine's water supply faucet. When said machine is being filled with water a small electric pump generates compressed air that opens the water inlet valve(s) against the reaction of springs. A float associated with an electric switch, normally closed when the machine is operating, rises when water leaks occur opening said switch, which shuts off the machine and pump power, and also closes the water intake valve(s).
Abstract: A liquid dispensing device delivering a constant volume independent of the pressure and volume of the liquid received comprising a cylinder which houses a mobile, sealed piston. The piston moves against the reaction of elastic devices owing to the pressure of a liquid supplied through an orifice of an ancillary cylinder. A valve associated with the shaft of a small piston mounted in a mobile fashion in the ancillary cylinder controls the flow of the liquid through the orifice. The small piston is moved by the action of a plunger against the reaction of elastic devices. The plunger is controlled by a thermoactuator.
Abstract: An electromechanical device for vehicle climate control and air conditioning systems. The valves in said systems are actuated by one or more plungers incorporated in electrothermoactuators associated with mechanisms which transmit and, if required, transform the linear movement generated by plungers causing the opening/closing of the system's valves.
Abstract: The present invention is a valve and valve housing designed for controlling the flow of water into washing machines comprising a molded plastic housing (1) with an inlet coupling (2) connecting the valve to the water supply, and an outlet coupling (3) connecting the valve to the washing machine; a poppet valve (4) located between said water inlet and outlet couplings normally remains closed with respect to its seat (5); the stem (4a) of said poppet valve (4) is associated with a leaf spring (8), and actuated by a piston (7) projecting from a casing (6) containing a wax with high thermal dilative properties; said casing (6) is in contact with one or more thermistors (9) (PTC) electrically powered through terminals (10) connected to the washing machine's timer, and having the purpose of opening the valve when the thermistor(s) is/are energized causing the wax contained in the casing (6) to expand inducing the axial movement of the piston (7), the leaf spring (8), and the poppet (4) of the valve, which retracts
Abstract: This invention relates to a dishwasher equipped with a single, unidirectional electric motor driving two impellers coaxial to a pump which sends water to a bypass valve containing inlets and outlets. The opening and closing of inlets and outlets is controlled by an actuator thermally activated by a heater/controller. Power is supplied to the controller through leads connected to a timer.
Abstract: A four-way electrovalve, particularly for the reversal of refrigerant flow in all types of refrigeration and conditioning systems such as heat pumps, or any other systems where it is periodically necessary to reverse the direction of flow of a compressed fluid. The valve comprises a hermetically sealed housing with four ports for the inflow and outflow of pressurized fluids; said ports are controlled by a deflector governed by a thermoactuator associated with one or more thermistors (PTC) acting against elastic devices (FIG. 1.).
Abstract: An electric relay has a casing enclosing a thermally expandable mass associated with a thermistor (PTC) as a heat source, connected to an electric excitation circuit. A rod projects from said casing to come in contact with a rocker lever which, in conjunction with the reaction of a spring, causes a second spring to bend. The bending second spring moves an armature comprising a contact point, so that the contact point comes in contact with a second fixed contact point, thus closing an electric circuit. The elastic reaction of the springs and a tooth on the rocker lever bring the relay back to the resting position when power to the thermistor is interrupted.
Abstract: A valve for channeling refrigerant gases into different tubes of refrigeration devices comprising a casing enclosing a waxy, thermally expandable mass hermetically sealed by an elastically deformable diaphragm that activates the rod of a needle valve controlling two outlets of gases entering the valve. The heating of the casing is achieved by means of one or a pair of electrically-powered thermistor(s) (PTC). The valve is hermetically sealed against gas leakage; the electrical components of the valve are enclosed in a housing made of an insulated material, and can be removed and interchanged with respect to a bracket connected to the body of the valve with a tube. The valve rod lies longitudinally within the tube and is hermetically enclosed by a diaphragm or metallic bellows.
Abstract: A thermal actuator is provided in which a thermally expansible material such as a high melting point wax is heated to produce linear movement of an actuator element. A secondary chamber containing a biconical mass provides a sealing chamber for the wax.
