  • Patent number: 4854098
Abstract: The invention relates to a facade structure having an inner bearer for at least one plate element. Holders engage behind the plate element in its edge region, and they are mounted in the bearer so as to be adjustable relative thereto. To ensure constant centering of the plate element according to the invention, the holder is pivotable within a plane lying horizontally and perpendicularly to the vertical plate element and is pressed into its engagement position by a resilient member in such a way that a retaining projection thereof engages behind the edge of the plate element at a constantly equal depth.

  • Patent number: 4809475
Abstract: A facade system of metal sections which receive plate-shaped elements between them such as fixed glazing, sashes, panels or the like which are each provided with an encircling auxiliary frame located exclusively on the room side and connected by releasable connecting means to main frames having means for attachment to a structure, in which:(a) the facade system consists of several separately formed and individually manipulable main frames into each of which at least one auxiliary frame is inserted;(b) on the room side, the main and auxiliary frames form a flat reveal extending perpendicularly to the facade plane;(c) inside this flat reveal, the main and auxiliary frames are spaced a clearance distance from one another which is closed air-tight by an encircling first seal, which simultaneously covers the releasable connecting means between the main and auxiliary frames;(d) the main frames are air-tightly connected on the room side to the respectively adjacent main frames by a second seal; and(e) the weather se

  • Patent number: 4742658
Abstract: A frame structure consisting of two compound units provided with mutually facing grooves undercut on either side, in which the first compound unit can be attached in a desired position to the second compound unit via a detachable coupling which comprises a turning part which can be turned from the outside manually via a handle about its longitudinal axis by about 90.degree. into its coupling or decoupling position, and which in its coupling position positively engages by means of a T-head at its one end in one of the two grooves and by means of anchoring means at its other end in the other of the two grooves and can be locked in this coupling position by means of an anti-rotation device.

  • Patent number: 4733515
Abstract: In a fastening arrangement for louver slats arranged below one another on a facade supporting structure, with supporting profiles which extend perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the louver and to which are fastened brackets which hold the slats in at least two places and which have a leg resting against the supporting profile and a leg projecting at an angle from the supporting profile, assembly without a tool becomes possible and a specific distance between the slats is set automatically if the supporting profile (4) is designed as a rail, in the longitudinal direction of which the brackets (2) are held displaceably by means of extensions (3) on the legs (5) resting against the supporting profile (4), and if the extensions (3) have, at the bottom end of the bracket (2), a receiving space (15), into which a filler piece (19) of the lower bracket (2) can be pushed with a clamping effect.

  • Patent number: 4704831
Abstract: A facade wall with a loadbearing skeleton of vertical posts and cross members inserted between the posts and connected at right angles thereto, which together form skeleton panels, provided with a seal, for receiving one plate element each, the post profile comprising in cross-section a room-side box profile portion and a weather-side head profile portion of smaller width and having on either side of the head profile a vertically extending seal retaining groove in the weather-side box profile surface. Lower and upper seal retaining grooves are provided in the cross member on the weather side. The cross member profile comprises a box profile portion and a head profile portion, which is arranged between the two horizontal seal retaining grooves and has horizontal seal retaining grooves in its upper and lower sides, each of which grooves is aligned with a vertical seal retaining groove in an associated side surface of the post profile head profile portion.

  • Patent number: 4471589
Abstract: A window or door structure consists of a support frame and a retaining frame positioned thereabove mounted by means of frame connection elements and also includes a multiple insulating glass supported by these two frames, the weight of the glass being absorbed by the support frame. The glass engages a longitudinal bar of the support frame as well as a longitudinal bar of the retaining frame with its edge by an intermediary pane gasket. The retaining frame is displaceably mounted on the support frame by means of the frame connection elements vertically with respect to the frame plane. The two pane gaskets are provided, which form a steam tight closure on the total pane circumference.

  • Patent number: 4462459
Abstract: A device for air control for an air ventilated room is provided with an outer pane on its weather side and at its room side with an inner pane. An air channel is formed between the panes for the exhausted room air and a fresh air channel with a weatherside fresh air suction opening and a room side fresh air discharge opening is provided in connection with the air channel. The air channel is connected to a weather side exhaust air opening on its downflow side and is also in connection with a heat exchanger disposed in front of the weather side exhaust air opening through which the exhaust air can transmit heat to the fresh air flowing through the fresh air channel. The air control device is a compact structural unit and is exclusively disposed on the inside of the room. The compact structural unit comprises a separate air control box and a ventilator box.

  • Patent number: 4331066
Abstract: The air conditioning device for a closed space provided with a double-pane glass window comprises an air outlet channel formed between the inner and outer pane of the window, a sun drape arranged in the space opposite the inner pane. The spacing between the inner and the outer panes defining the width of the air outlet channel is reduced preferably to 40 millimeters at which value a well-defined, substantially laminar air flow takes place. The surface of the air drape facing the inner pane is profiled to reflect sun rays passing through the window at a high angle back to the window and for permitting the sun rays passing at a low angle to impinge against heat absorbing strips provided selectively on the drape.
