    Abstract: A method of making bags of the automatic or self-opening satchel-bottom type having an outer sheet of paper and a plastic inner liner in which a tab portion is formed with a portion of the inner liner removed so that when the bag bottom is formed a paper surface of the tab portion can be adhered to a paper portion of a diamond fold when the bag bottom is completed.
