Abstract: An apparatus, a method and a computer readable medium for generating media packets, the method includes the steps of: (a) providing packet boundary information representative of locations of potential packet boundaries within media objects; said packet boundary information facilitating generation of packets of varying sizes; (b) selecting packet boundaries in response to a packet size selection information; and (c) generating media packets in response to the selected packet boundaries.
Abstract: Systems and methods to accept information regarding audio communication sessions (e.g., telephone calls) and, in response, initiate a videoconference and/or data collaboration session via for example data collaboration terminals associated with the audio terminals used for the audio communication sessions. The videoconferences and/or data collaboration sessions may be initiated using for example a voice call or session, for example, by using DTMF, SMS, SVD etc. The information required for the initiation of a videoconference or data collaboration session may for example be transmitted between user terminals, a centralized database may be used, or other methods may be used.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for generating a motion compensated matrix, the method includes the steps of: (i) providing a motion vector and at least one input matrix of DCT coefficients; (ii) selecting at least one conversion transform (CT) and at least one inverse conversion transform (ICT) in response to a content of the motion vector; and (iii) applying the at least one selected ICT and the at least one selected CT to provide a motion compensated matrix.
