Abstract: Provided for is a mattress comprising a first layer comprising a first firm layer and a first soft layer, a second layer comprising a second firm layer and a second soft layer, where the second layer and the first layer are in horizontal adjacent contact. The mattress may further comprise a base layer comprising a base top layer and a base bottom layer, where the base layer and the first layer are in vertical adjacent contact, and where the base layer and the second layer are in vertical adjacent contact. The mattress may further comprise a cover comprising a cover top, a cover bottom, and a zipper, where the zipper may separate the cover top from the cover bottom, where a band may be disposed on an inside surface of the cover top, where the band may mask a gap between the first layer and the second layer.
