Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a handheld scraping implement is provided that is adapted to scrape, carve and scoop away soft materials including the pulp, seeds and shell of fruits or vegetables, such as pumpkins. The scraping implement comprises a handle portion and a scoop portion. The scoop portion terminates in a scraping blade. In some embodiments of the instant invention, the scraping implement includes a serrated scraping blade and or a beveled or sharpened blade. Furthermore, in some embodiments, the scraping implement includes an optional shaving blade defined within or protruding from the scoop portion. The shaving blade being adapted to shave away portions of the interior or exterior of the shell of the pumpkin or other fruit or vegetable.

Abstract: An image projection apparatus is provided which includes a projector, image source and reflective element. The reflective element is capable of being rotated by a mechanism housed within the reflective element. Light projected from the projector and through the image source is directed to the relective element and reflective onto a surface for viewing. The rotation of the reflective element creates reflected images which move in a desired direction across the viewing surface.

Abstract: A tree stand for supporting a tree includes a base. The base includes a receptacle for receiving and supporting the trunk of the tree. A fluid reservoir for storing a fluid is detachably connected to the base. A first valve is attached to the reservoir and is operable between and open and closed position to allow fluid to flow outwardly of the reservoir in the open position and to prevent fluid from flowing outwardly of the reservoir in the closed position. A second valve is attached to the base and is in fluid communication with the receptacle. The second valve is operable in an open position to allow fluid to flow into the receptacle, and a closed position to prevent fluid from flowing outwardly of the receptacle.

Abstract: A device useful for supporting decorative light strings or other articles from a brick wall, the device having an expander, retainer, mounting clip for decorative bulb and socket assemblies, and threaded fastener, the expander being insertable into a mortar groove, the retainer having teeth adapted to engage bricks surrounding the mortar groove when the retainer is tightened against the expander by the fastener, and a mounting clip attached to the retainer.

Abstract: A decorative article includes a plurality of members hingedly connected to one another and movable between a folded storage position and an unfolded display position. Each of the members includes a top surface, a bottom surface, and first and second sides. A hinge interconnects adjacent members between respective first and second sides. Ones of the top surfaces overlay each other and ones of the bottom surfaces overlay each other in the article folded storage position, such that in the article folded storage position, the article has a height equal to the sum of the heights of the members, and in the article unfolded display position, the article has a height equal to the height of one of the members and wherein the members are arranged in a circular pattern.

Abstract: A decorative lighting display system includes a first housing including areas simulating a pair of eye balls. An illumination source is disposed within the first housing for illuminating the areas simulating the pair of eye balls. A controller is disposed in the first housing and is utilized for energizing the illumination source. The system further includes a second housing including areas simulating a pair of eye balls. An illumination source is disposed within the second housing for illuminating the areas simulating the pair of eye balls. The controller energizes the illumination source disposed within the second housing.

Abstract: A decorative light curtain that can be draped inside a doorway, window or other opening using a conventional tension rod and a plurality of specially adapted light support brackets that separate and position a plurality of substantially parallel strands of decorative lights. The resultant lighting display simulates a lighted drape that spans the top and each side of the door or window in which it is used.
