Patents Assigned to Emerson Electric Co. (H & H Precision Products)
  • Patent number: 4572411
Abstract: A valve assembly for a dispensing head with a conventional gooseneck type dispensing spout for filling carafes and the like type containers has a single bore in the center line of the dispensing head for mounting the dispensing spout and operating elements of a valve for controlling the flow of the fluid being dispensed to the inlet or lower end of the dispensing spout, the lower end of the dispensing spout forms the valve head for the valve maintained normally closed, and manual actuating device is provided to lift the dispensing spout so as to move the valve to open position.

  • Patent number: 4454891
Abstract: An air gap drain module for use with the dispensing head of a reverse osmosis dispensing system for potable water has an inner waste water tube and an outer drain tube which are disposed concentric to each other at one end and for a portion of the length of the inner tube adjacent the concentric end. An air gap in the form of spaced slots is provided adjacent the concentric end of the drain tube and a closure is connected to the common end of the waste water tube and drain tube with an annular flange or skirt thereon in assembled position disposed to extend between the waste water tube and the drain tube to form an annular passage about the waste water tube and direct the movement of process water issuing from the concentric end of the waste water tube into the drain tube. The closure forms a chamber or trap with the adjacent end of the waste water tube which in conjunction with the spaced slots prevent back flow into the waste water tube.

  • Patent number: 4183466
Abstract: A thermally actuated phase change operated control valve particularly adapted for use with heat pump systems has a valve body having a bore therein defining a fluid flow chamber, said valve body having an inlet port at one end and spaced and sized outlet ports in the medial wall thereof so that a valve head slidably disposed in the fluid flow chamber will in the calibrated position of the valve head maintain a predetermined minimum flow of fluid from said inlet port through the respective outlet ports.

  • Patent number: 4175697
Abstract: A thermally actuated phase change operated control valve has, a valve body with a bore therethrough the walls of which define a valve chamber, the valve body has a manifold assembly about the valve body and a medially disposed first port means in the valve body connects the valve chamber with the manifold assembly. Spaced second and third port means in the valve body respectively disposed on opposite sides of said first port means permit valve head means slidably disposed in said valve chamber for movement relative said first port means to direct fluid either from the valve chamber to one or the other of said second and third port means or vice versa depending on whether the control valve is operated as a diverter valve or as a mixing valve or if desired one of the spaced second or third port means can be rendered inoperative and the control valve can be operated as a thermal check valve.
