    Abstract: There is described a system and method for managing timeseries data. A timeseries consumer receives timeseries data from multiple devices, provides the timeseries data to a particular partition of a data table based on an insert time of the timeseries data to the data table, and records metadata associated with the timeseries data provided to the particular partition at a track table. A timeseries archiver identifies recent records of the data table based on insert time(s) and archival time(s) of a milestone table, archives the timeseries data of the data table associated with the recent records to an external system, and updates the archival time(s) of the milestone table and the track table. The timeseries purger drops an archived partition of the data table based on determining that all records of the archived partition have been archived.

    Abstract: An electrical power system having an electricity meter connected to power lines on one side and a load on the other side, the electricity meter having a processor and memory, a communications module, a sensor, and a service disconnect switch. The service disconnect switch is locally operable based on a preprogrammed time delay stored in the memory of the electricity meter to restore power in a controlled fashion following a power outage. Electricity meters and electricity reconnection methods are described, as are other aspects.

    Abstract: Utility usage data of a customer in numeric form provided by the utility meter data collection system in usage intervals of not less frequent than daily intervals is received, along with billing-related data of the customer. The received utility usage data of the customer is converted from numeric form to a graphical form that shows the total daily usage information for a calendar period that matches that for the printed utility bill of the customer. The graphical form is printed on the printed utility bill or on a paper suitable for use as an insert accompanying the printed utility bill to be mailed to the customer. In another embodiment, electricity usage data of the customer is received, along with electricity generation data regarding quantity and percentages of a utility's total electricity generation attributable to at least two the following electricity generation sources: Natural Gas-Baseload, Natural Gas-Peaking, Coal, Hydro, Nuclear, and Renewable.
