    Abstract: An irrigation mat for supplying fluids for a root region of plants which has at least one lower layer and one upper layer that are each composed of a textile fabric. Between the lower layer and the upper layer, at least one tunnel is provided for accommodating at least one tube, which has exit openings for the fluid. The lower layer and the upper layer are attached to each other over a large area in at least one region outside the tunnels.
