Patents Assigned to En-tout-cas plc
  • Patent number: 5088724
Abstract: A substitute ground surface material comprising sand coated or treated with a binder comprising a free flowing extender oil with a viscosity transition below -5.degree. F., with a synthetic polymeric material such as styrene-butadiene-styrene co-polymer dissolved or dispersed in the oil. The binder comprises approximately 2% of the material which is an inert, discreet material permanently capable of being raked when laid in a layer upon a substrate. The material is laid on a suitable porous base to form a sports surface for a horse running track or the like.

  • Patent number: 4968024
Abstract: A ground surface material comprising a particulate base material such as sand which is coated with a binder comprising a free flowing extender oil, typically an aromatic oil, having a synthetic polymeric material such as styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer dissolved or dispersed therein. The material can be laid on a suitable porous base to form a sports surface for a horse running track or the like.

  • Patent number: 4852870
Abstract: The invention relates to a substitute soil material for laying as a sports surface for example a horse-race track. The material may be a sand or other fine granular material with a binder comprising a styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer dispersed or dissolved in an oil which preferably is a soft grease at ordinary climatic temperatures. When laid, the surface may be maintained by periodic raking.
