Abstract: A packing dispenser may include a face plate including a spout having a conical shape, first side walls connected to the face plate, a first roll shelf including a first base connected to the first side walls, a second roll shelf substantially orthogonal to the first roll shelf including a connecting plate, a second base, and second side walls and the connecting plate connects the second roll shelf to the first base of the first roll shelf. The paper dispenser allows for multiple rolls of packing material to be placed inside and interconnected such that multiple rolls can be used in the dispenser before more rolls of packing material are needed.

Abstract: A device for producing various types of cut, slit, or scored packing material includes a housing having an entry opening for receiving packing material, an internal chamber including a movable carriage having one or more rotary blades, and an exit opening. A controller of the device is operably coupled to a motor for moving the carriage between a first position and a second position within the internal chamber as packing material is advanced therethrough. In response to receiving a user input at a user interface operably coupled to the controller, the controller is configured to cause the motor to facilitate movement of the carriage between the first and second positions such that a rotary blade thereof may engage with and cut, slit, or score the packing material as the material is advanced through the device.

Abstract: A packaging material holder comprising a bent shaft including a first arm, a base portion, and a second arm, and a plurality of magnets attached to the second arm is provided. The first arm includes an end which permits a roll of packaging material having an opening larger than a diameter of the end of the first arm to be placed over the end of the first arm and contact the base portion. The plurality of magnets magnetically couple to a magnetic surface and support a mass of the packaging material holder and a mass of the roll of packaging material.

Abstract: A securing apparatus includes a main body that defines a cavity sized to receive a portion of an object, such as a box's corner. The securing apparatus includes at least one anchor extending from the main body that is configured to engage with the corner portion of the object such that the securing apparatus may be removably coupled thereto. The main body of the securing apparatus may include eyelets configured to receive a length of filament such that multiple objects may be secured to one another during packaging and shipping. Additionally, the securing apparatus may also include a projecting finger that is configured to retain a length of filament that may be used to attach the object more securely to a pallet or other structure for shipping.

Abstract: A securing apparatus configured to assist in securing objects to a pallet during packaging and shipping includes a main body having first and second wall portions spaced from one another to define a channel, and a hook extending from the main body via a neck portion. At least one of the first and second wall portions includes an anchor for engaging and being embedded in a pallet. A fastener may be received through an aperture of the main body to releasably attach the securing apparatus to a pallet, and the anchor may be at least partially embedded in the pallet. So configured, a filament may be looped about the hook to assist in securing objects to the pallet in a first securing configuration, and another filament may be received in the channel to assist in securing objects to the pallet in a second securing configuration.

Abstract: A stretch film dispensing apparatus gathers the stretch film into a flattened strap for use in securing an object to a pallet for shipping. The stretch film can be converted into a string or rope by passing it through one or more of a hook, funnel, apparatus, set of gears, or the like to effect stretching and/or twisting of the film into a string or rope. The string or rope is then pressed between two rollers biased together with sufficient force to flatten the string or rope into a flattened strap that maintains its structural integrity to be used as a replacement for plastic or metallic strapping.
