Patents Assigned to Endera Corporation
  • Patent number: 12558996
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a thermal system for an electric vehicle. The thermal system features a vehicle control system and a first control valve. The first control valve, upon placement into a first operational state by the vehicle control system, separates a flow of coolant used to thermally adjust one or more components within the electric vehicle into parallel thermal loops from a serial thermal loop. The parallel thermal loops include a first thermal loop responsible for thermal adjustment of a plurality of battery packs and a second thermal loop responsible for thermal adjustment of a drivetrain including at least an electric motor. The thermal system may further include a second control valve that, upon placement into a first operational state by the vehicle control system, routes the flow of coolant to bypass a radiator of the electric vehicle prior to routing to the first control valve.

  • Patent number: 12552220
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a thermal management unit implemented within an electric vehicle including a plurality of battery packs. The thermal management unit features a first manifold operating as a coolant convergence device and a second manifold operating as a coolant divergence device. Alternatively, the thermal management unit may include a base plate, which is adapted to maintain a coolant convergence devices and a coolant divergence device.

  • Patent number: 12370876
Abstract: The mounting infrastructure is selected to support a plurality of battery packs including a first battery pack positioned between the second segment of first frame rail and the second segment of the second frame rail. For instance, a first mounting device including a battery support member and a pair of mounting brackets. Each of the mounting brackets includes an edge plate arranged proximate to a lengthwise side of the first battery pack when installed, an engagement plate to engage with a battery support member adapted to support the first battery pack, and an affixation member that, when installed to the first frame rail and second frame rail, is oriented to retain the engagement plate in parallel to the lengthwise side of the first battery pack despite the second segments being inwardly angled. Other types of mounting devices to support each of the multiple battery packs is described.

  • Patent number: 11999357
Abstract: A wellness diagnostic platform installed on a vehicle to identify potential passengers with evident symptoms of a contagious illness is described. The wellness diagnostic platform includes a wellness monitoring unit and a boarding confirmation unit. The wellness monitoring unit includes a camera and/or one or more thermal sensors. The camera may capture physical characteristics of the potential passenger to determine health and the thermal sensors can measure a temperature of the potential passenger prior to boarding the vehicle. The boarding confirmation unit is configured to receive at least a display object identifying a diagnostic result computed by the wellness monitoring unit that the potential passenger is (i) advised to board the vehicle when a temperature of the potential passenger is equal to or below a prescribed temperature threshold or (ii) advised to refrain from boarding the vehicle when the temperature of the potential passenger exceeds prescribed temperature threshold.

  • Patent number: 11941895
Abstract: A headcount determination system is disclosed that includes a first camera and a processing unit configured to receive data communications that include an image frame captured by the first camera. The processing unit includes logic that, when executed by the processing unit, causes performance of operations including performing operations comprising a pre-processing phase including dividing the image frame into sub-frames, performing operations comprising an inference phase including scoring the sub-frames with a machine learning (ML) model, performing a threshold comparison with a score for each sub-frame and a threshold, and incrementing a headcount when the score satisfies the threshold comparison, and when the threshold comparison has been performed for the score for each sub-frame, providing the headcount as output. The operations further include performing a scaling operation on the image frame that adjusts a size of the image frame by a scaling factor.
