Patents Assigned to Endovascular Development AB
  • Patent number: 10849772
Abstract: An assembly of a retrieving element and a retrievable device of which one is a helical spring having an outer part of a winding which extends away from a main portion of the spring and thus is able to engage a thread of the other of the retrieving element and a retrievable device. The other of the retrieving element and a retrievable device may have an outer or an inner thread. The assembly may be used for retrieving devices temporarily positioned in a blood vessel of a person.

  • Publication number: 20180271537
Abstract: An endovascular assembly of a guidewire having two stoppers and a deformable element having a deformable basket/braid and two sliders sliding over the guide wire. The distance between the stoppers is smaller than the distance between the sliders so that when the stoppers each engages a slider, the deformable basket is thicker than its rest shape. In one embodiment, the distance between the stoppers may be altered to facilitate e.g. retrieval of the assembly.

  • Patent number: 9993622
Abstract: A fixator assembly comprising a fixator for fixing inside a blood vessel, a guide tube attached to the fixator and a pump for supplying a liquid to the blood vessel or from the blood vessel via the guide tube. Blood flow past the fixator is possible during pumping so that critical situations are avoided. A method of providing a liquid to a blood vessel using the assembly is also claimed. Sampling or liquid dosing thus may be performed during extended periods of time while performing this at a well-defined position in the blood vessel and potentially close to or at the desired position in the person.

  • Patent number: 8535371
Abstract: A method of positioning a tubular element inside a main blood vessel of a person. The tubular element has a main tube with one or more side openings and a transport wire extending through each side opening. A fixator being positioned in each branch vessel and the corresponding guide wire being attached to the corresponding transport wire, whereby re-routing of the guide wire is performed by pulling the transport wire to have the guide wire extend from the fixator through the corresponding side opening and to the outside of the person. This re-routed guide wire may be used for positioning the tubular element or guiding additional elements from the tubular element and into the branch vessel.
