Abstract: In an example embodiment, a product applicator assembly is provided. The assembly comprises a housing having a porous portion. The housing defines a hollow interior bounded at least in part by the porous portion. The assembly further comprises a sealed product container positioned within the hollow interior. The product container contains a spreadable product therein. The housing is at least partially compressible. At least a portion of the housing causes the sealed product container to burst and to release at least a portion of the spreadable product into the porous portion of the housing.

Abstract: An air freshener has a carrier with a pair of tabs defining a gap. A center tab extends from the pair of tabs and defines a longitudinal axis. At least one scented body is carried by one of the pair of tabs. The pair of tabs and the at least one scented body extend laterally with respect to the longitudinal axis of the center tab in opposite directions. The pair of tabs and the at least one scented body have a lateral width greater than a longitudinal depth.

Abstract: A scent diffuser (e.g., an air freshener) may be configured to resemble a desired shape, such as the shape of an animal. The scent diffuser may comprise an interactive body portion, a fragrance emitter, and a support component configured to support the body portion and the fragrance emitter. The interactive body portion comprises a base; a cover secured relative to the base; and a pivot member movably secured relative to the cover, wherein the pivot member is configured to pivot, bob, or otherwise move freely relative to the cover upon application of an external force to the pivot member. The fragrance emitter is secured relative to the base of the interactive body portion, and the fragrance emitter comprises a fragrance composition configured to diffuse into an environment surrounding the scent diffuser.

Abstract: Scent diffusers (e.g., air fresheners) having adjustable scent diffusion rates may comprise scent intensity adjustment configurations for adjusting the intensity of a fragrance material emitted from the scent diffusers. In certain embodiments, the scent intensity adjustment configuration may take the form of slidable planar scent panels saturated with fragrance composition that may be moved into and out of a hollow body portion. When positioned substantially within the hollow body portion, the scent panels emit fragrance composition at a first rate, and when positioned substantially outside of the hollow body portion, the scent panels emit fragrance at a second rate, faster than the first rate. Alternatively, a scent diffuser may have a body portion containing a scent panel, wherein the body portion has a plurality of ventilation openings to control the rate of fragrance composition diffusion by rotating an adjustment panel to selectively block the ventilation openings of the body portion.

Abstract: A scent diffuser (e.g., air freshener) configured to automatically circulate fragrant air throughout a surrounding environment comprises a powered air circulator configured for circulating air and a fragrance composition throughout the surrounding environment, and a solar cell positioned within a support face of the air circulator. The support face is configured to secure the scent diffuser relative to a support surface and has an open portion configured to allow light to contact the solar cell. The air circulator may comprise a centrifugal fan positioned within the housing and configured to draw air through intake apertures in sidewalls of the housing and to exhaust air and fragrance through an outflow aperture of the housing.

Abstract: An air freshener is configured to be carried by a power outlet of an automobile. The air freshener includes a scent capsule disposed in a housing. A heat source is disposed in the housing adjacent and opposing a permeable membrane of the scent capsule. The heat source is configured to heat the fragrant material in the scent capsule and accelerate permeation of the fragrant material through the permeable membrane of the sent capsule. A hatch is pivotally coupled to the housing and substantially contained within a hatch cavity with an outer surface that is substantially flush with an exterior of the housing in a closed position, The hatch can include a capsule cavity therein. carrying the scent capsule, and facing an interior of the housing in the closed position.

The scent device is separately and removably carriable by each of the plurality of different carriers. At least one of the different carriers is carriable by another one of the plurality of different carriers. The each of the carriers may be passive, active and self-powered, or active and externally-powered.
