Abstract: A system and method for lowering electric power consumption and costs for lighting applications. The system uses environmentally friendly low power consuming Light Emitting Diodes (LED) emitters and switches between renewable electric power, non-renewable electric power and rechargeable battery power based upon the availability of renewable electric power and the cost of non-renewable electric power.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for analyzing the effectiveness of lighting control signals that result in controlling the lighting conditions in an environment or space. The lighting conditions are changed resulting in alteration of the behavior of the people in the space, including lowering sound levels or changing mental state/behavior of the people in the space. The system analyzes information, related to the response of the people in the space, to determine the effectiveness of a control signal that is used to alter the lighting conditions. The altered lighting conditions include at least one or more of altering the intensity of the lights (dims or brightens) or wavelength of the lights (color) in the space.

The dimming or color change of the lights is an indicator to the people in the environment to lower the sound in the environment.
