Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include an air handling module. The air handling module may comprise an exchanger within a housing, a first manifold positioned on a first side of the housing and including a first pair of ports on a first end and a second pair of ports on a second end, and a second manifold positioned on a second side of the housing and including a first pair of ports on a first end and a second pair of ports on a second end. The first pairs of ports may be in fluid communication to transfer air through the exchanger and between the first and second manifolds, and the second pairs of ports may be in fluid communication to transfer air through the exchanger and between the first and second manifolds.

Abstract: A multiple opening, counter-flow plate type exchanger is manufactured by repeatedly folding and joining one strip of membrane to form a core composed of a multitude of membrane layers with a plurality of inlet and outlet openings or fluid passageways configured in an alternating counter-flow arrangement. Methods for manufacturing such multiple opening cores are described. An integrated, modular, and stackable plastic manifold that is formed by ultrasonically welding plastic sheet stock is described. Multiple opening cores comprising water-permeable membranes can be used in a variety of applications, including heat and water vapor exchangers. In particular, they can be incorporated into energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) for exchanging heat and water vapor between air streams directed into and out of buildings, automobiles, or other Industrial processes.
Abstract: A paper material having water sorption capacity and method for forming the same is provided. The paper material may be formed from a mixture including thermoplastic organic fibers, micro porous particles, and hydroscopic salt or a mixture including organic fibers, titania or a transition alumina micro porous particles, and a hydroscopic salt. The paper may be produced by forming an aqueous slurry, including organic fibers and micro porous particles, mixing the slurry, feeding the mixed slurry into a paper making apparatus thereby forming a sheet, contacting the sheet with a solution containing an amount of hydroscopic salt, and drying the hydroscopic salt containing solution.

Abstract: An interlocking and insulated form pattern assembly for creating a wall construction for receiving a poured concrete. A plurality of form structures each are constructed in a substantially rectangular fashion with a height, length and width and include pluralities of arcuately shaped inner walls which define both vertically and longitudinally extending concrete filling passageways. The forms are interlockingly arranged according to a desired stacking arrangement so that the vertically and longitudinally filling passageways extending continuously throughout the erected wall structure. Moisture drainage channels likewise extend in interconnected fashion both horizontally and vertically within the form structures and are arranged in alignment with identical channels in succeeding form structures to provide internal drainage capabilities to the form assembly.
