  • Patent number: 7943184
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing an extract from ivy leaves which includes the active ingredient hederacoside C and ?-hederin, and to extracts prepared by this process. According to this there is initially provision of a first, ?-hederin-rich extract and subsequently provision of a second, hederacoside C-rich extract. In a last step, the two extracts are blended to give an extract which has an adjusted hederacoside C content and an adjusted ?-hederin content.

  • Patent number: 7790771
Abstract: The invention concerns the use of tosylchloramide(s), tosylchloramide salt(s), their derivatives and/or the decomposition products for treating diseases of the skin, mucous membranes, organs and tissues, excluding treatment of retroviral diseases (HIV) and disinfecting processes. It has been shown that tosylchloramide compounds can be used even for all diseases of the skin and viral mucosa causing formation of vesicles and itching, and they can lead to similar results as those obtained when they are used to treat corresponding diseases in tissues and organs. They not only provide quick relief of the acute symptoms and cure, but they also reduce frequency of recurrence. The inventive use is characterised in that it leads to very good treatment results, entirely independently of the form of preparation used, and it does not have to be administered in one specific manner. Relatively low amounts of tosylchloramide active principle can provide complete cure.

  • Patent number: 7592289
Abstract: A particulate pre-reduction cobalt supported Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst precursor which comprises a catalyst support impregnated with cobalt, is treated with a pure hydrogen reducing gas, at a first specific feed gas space velocity, SV1, and at a first heating rate, HR1, to obtain a partially reduced precursor. The support contains reducible cobalt oxide in a calcined state and having a formula-unit in which each mole of cobalt atoms is associated with more than 4/3 moles of oxygen atoms and displaying a reducible cobalt oxide specific surface area at least equal to that of Co3O4 spinel. The partially reduced precursor is then treated with a pure hydrogen reducing gas, at a second specific feed gas space velocity, SV2, and at a second heating rate, HR2, to obtain an activated supported Fischer-Tropsch catalyst, with SV2?SV1 and/or HR2?HR1; however, when SV2=SV1, HR2?HR1 and when HR2=HR1, SV2?SV1.

  • Patent number: 7524787
Abstract: A process for producing a supported Fischer-Tropsch catalyst includes treating, in an activation stage (12), a particulate pre-reduction cobalt nitrate-based supported Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst precursor containing reducible cobalt oxides, with hydrogen as a reducing gas in order to reduce the cobalt oxides over a period of time to Co, with ammonia and water being formed, the reduction including a time period when predominantly CoO is reduced to Co. Unreacted hydrogen is withdrawn (20), which thus includes water and treated to lower its dewpoint (14). At least a portion of the withdrawn unreacted hydrogen is returned to the activation stage (12) as recycle hydrogen (26). An ammonia concentration is maintained in the activation stage (12), at least during the time when predominantly CoO is reduced to Co, of less than 250 volume parts per million (‘vppm’).

  • Publication number: 20070295936
Abstract: Disclosed is a stabilized chlorine dioxide generating composition containing an oxy-chlorine salt, an acid source, optionally a free halogen source, and an endothermic agent. The endothermic agent neutralizes heat evolved by exothermic reaction of the oxy-chlorine salt by the endothermic reaction of the endothermic agent. Since the endothermic reaction eliminates and/or mitigates propagation of the exothermic reaction of the oxy-chlorine salt from a localized area through the total mass of the material, the chlorine dioxide generating composition is thereby stabilized during making, storing, or shipping the composition.
