Abstract: A fill control valve for a pressure vessel, e.g. a refrigerant container wherein said valve is disposed within said container and includes a pair of fluid passageways wherein a one-way check valve is disposed in one of said passageways for permitting flow of liquid refrigerant from inside said vessel to a point outside of said vessel and the other of said passageways permits the filling of said vessel with liquid and gas refrigerant. Said other passageway being provided with a normally closed spring-loaded poppet valve and float activated lever means for closing said valve at a pre-determined refrigerant level in said vessel.
