  • Patent number: 9791844
Abstract: A method for influencing a control program having a plurality of first functions and at least one of the first functions is configured to control an actuator, and a memory is provided and the memory has memory regions occupied by subprograms assigned to the first functions, whereby there is a branch address in the program code of the control program when one of the first functions is called up that points to a memory address of the subprogram associated with the function call. The control program is analyzed for the occurrence of function calls, and the branch addresses, associated with the function calls, and addresses of the return commands are ascertained. One of the first functions is selected to be deleted. The first function is replaced by a second function, in which the program code of the selected first function is overwritten by the program code of the second function.

  • Patent number: 9784818
Abstract: The various technologies presented herein relate to correcting a time-dependent phase error generated as part of the formation of a radar waveform. A waveform can be pre-distorted to facilitate correction of an error induced into the waveform by a downstream operation/component in a radar system. For example, amplifier power droop effect can engender a time-dependent phase error in a waveform as part of a radar signal generating operation. The error can be quantified and an according complimentary distortion can be applied to the waveform to facilitate negation of the error during the subsequent processing of the waveform. A time domain correction can be applied by a phase error correction look up table incorporated into a waveform phase generator.

  • Patent number: 9786192
Abstract: An autonomous vehicle can transition between operational modes. The readiness of a vehicle driver for a transition can be assessed, particularly when transitioning from a first operational mode to a second operational mode that has a greater degree of manual involvement than the first operational mode. It can be determined whether an operational mode transition event has occurred while the vehicle is operating in the first operational mode. Responsive to determining that an operational mode transition event has occurred, an audial sample from a vehicle driver can be collected. It can be determined whether the vehicle driver is ready or non-ready to provide the greater degree of manual involvement for the second operational mode based on the collected audial sample.
