A method is taught for drilling and completing the SAGD wells in a formation, conditioning said wells to create a stress condition favorable for forming a dilation zone, injecting one or both of said two wells with a stimulant at pressures greater than the in-situ minimum stress of the formation to initiate the dilation zone connecting said SAGD wells and continuing stimulant injection into a first of said two wells while maintaining a target pressure at a second of said two wells to propagate the dilation zone homogenously along the well length.

The traveling wave differential subsystem may also determine a restraint quantity based on the plurality of representations of electrical conditions. The traveling wave differential subsystem may detect a traveling wave generated by the fault based on the plurality of representations. A fault detector subsystem may be configured to declare a fault based on a comparison of the operating quantity and the restraint quantity. A protective action subsystem may implement a protective action based on the declaration of the fault.

    Abstract: An airbag apparatus is provided with a shaped, out-of-position (OOP) flap configured to alter a trajectory of an inflatable air cushion during deployment. The apparatus includes an airbag module with an inflator assembly. The inflatable cushion is folded in a deflated arrangement with the airbag module, defining a major surface facing a direction of deployment. The OOP flap is shaped to cover only a partial region of the major surface. The OOP flap may include a first portion with a first end fixed to the airbag module or the inflatable cushion; and a second portion with a second end opposite the first end, remaining free from attachment. The second portion has at least one fold or cut-out at the second end and is positioned overlying the partial region of the major surface, thereby leaving at least a section of the major surface free from contact with the OOP flap.

The tubesheets have boreholes in fluid communication with bores of the hollow fiber membrane. In at least one of the tubesheets, the boreholes are formed radially and are in communication with the central tubular core. The hollow fiber fluid separation device can be utilized in liquid separation applications such as ultrafiltration and in gas separation processes such as air separation. The design disclosed herein is light weight and compact and is particularly advantageous at high operating temperatures when the pressure of the feed fluid introduced into the bores of hollow fibers is higher than the pressure on the shell side of the device.
