Abstract: A ball launcher of the type that includes a piston slidable in a launch tube to increase air pressure behind a ball loaded into a front end of the launcher includes a launch tube of an outwardly flared construction to a diameter greater than the diameter of the ball loaded into the launcher. The outwardly flared end has an inwardly directed peripheral ledge defining an aperture smaller than the ball diameter. A spring located within the flared end biases the loaded ball against the ledge to create and maintain a pneumatic seal between the ball and ledge prior to launch.

Abstract: A baseball playing kit includes telescoping vertical supports mounted on a base plate. An intermediate support is adjustable in height for different sized users. A tapered support holds a foam covered ball at the upper end. The base is divided into segments that can be easily assembled. A lower threaded vertical support is secured to the base by a threaded base member and a locking member secures the base segments together. A foam covered bat is included. The various components are separable for packaging into a small container for shipping and storage and are easily assembled into a complete game unit.

Abstract: A rider propelled lightweight collapsible scooter includes a collapsible mechanism with a front vertical assembly including a vertical riser tube, handle and front wheel pivotable from a vertical operational position to a horizontal storage/transport position. The vertical riser tube and handle are adjustable to the height of the user and can be telescoped to a smaller size. A spring biased collar on a pivot tube coacts with a positioning post on a rider platform to provide positively locked vertical and horizontal positions when moving from the operating to the collapsed position.

Abstract: A binder for storing collectibles in holder pages of a material dissimilar to the binder cover. The sheets of pages are fastened to each other and to the binder cover by ultrasonically sealing the sheets directly or indirectly through the internal surface of the cover to a concealed anchoring rib of the same material as the holder pages, which anchoring rib is disposed and secured in the spine of the cover. A method of manufacturing a binder for storing collectibles is also disclosed in which a series of sheets of pages is superimposed over the internal surface of the binder cover and then the sheets are fastened by ultrasonically sealing them to the cover by means of ultrasonic sealing tools which pierce and fuse the sheets along the desired line of attachment to form a single booklet, and then continue directly or indirectly through the internal surface of the cover to contact a concealed anchoring rib of the same material disposed in the spine of the binder.
