Abstract: Collapsible and portable seating device and method of using the device is provided with telescoping legs, a cane-function and an umbrella to provide protection from sun, rain and snow. The telescoping legs allow for adjustments for height and sturdiness on uneven contours such as a slope or hill. An umbrella connection on the handle allows for unlimited positioning of the umbrella and folds neatly with the legs when not in use. There are no loose parts in the seating device that has a weight of less than approximately 6 pounds, is easily set-up and folded to a collapsed condition for storage or use as a cane.
