Abstract: The present invention relates to a communication system. The communication system includes a handheld communication device, a primary communication module, and a secondary communication apparatus. The primary communication module is configured for communicating with the secondary communication apparatus within a predetermined coverage area. When receiving a short message signal, the handheld communication device broadcasts a search signal. The secondary communication apparatus detects the search signal and sends a response signal to the handheld communication device according to the user's operations. The handheld communication device detects whether the response signal is received and processes accordingly. The present invention also provides a method of applying a security function for short messaging adapted for supporting the aforementioned communication system.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a robot and method for establishing a relationship between input commands and output reactions. When initiating an input configuration program, the robot fetches a predetermined motion output reaction and performs a corresponding motion. At this time, the robot receives a vocal input command from a user to obtain a vocal input profile, and establishes a relationship between the motion output reaction and the vocal input profile. When receiving the vocal input command again, the robot performs the corresponding motion according to the relationship. In addition, a sound assigned to the motion output reaction can be altered according to users' preferences. Accordingly, the motion output reaction may have different naming sound.

The audio jack includes a left track segment, a micro segment, a right track segment, and a ground segment, which are correspondingly coupled to a first data pin, a second data pin, a power pin and a ground pin of the first USB port. The plug switcher includes an audio plug and a second USB port. The audio plug includes a left track segment, a micro segment, a right track segment, and a ground segment, which are correspondingly coupled to a first data pin, a second data pin, a power pin and a ground pin of said second USB port. The jack switcher can be connected to the plug switcher by a USB cable.

Abstract: A media player capable of automatically adjusting equalizer parameter thereof is provided. The media player includes a speaker, a processor, a memory, an audio amplifier, a decoder, an analog to digital (D/A) converter, an earphone jack for connecting with an earphone, a switch and a detecting circuit. The memory stores audio files and a voltage value-equalizer parameter look-up table. The detecting circuit detects a voltage of the speaker or the second dynamic contact of the switch and obtains a voltage value. The processor compares the voltage value with predetermined voltage values and obtains a comparison result, and reads corresponding equalizer parameters from the table according to the comparison result. The media player plays an audio files according to the equalizer parameters, thus to obtain audio effect optimization.

Abstract: A capacitive pressure sensing device includes a capacitor, a capacitive pressure transducer, a resistor, a capacitance/frequency converter and a processor. The capacitive pressure transducer includes a metal sponge, a metal layer and a capacitive sensor element. The metal sponge is sandwiched between the metal layer and the capacitive sensor element. When an external force is applied to the metal layer, the metal sponge is compressed, and reduces a distance between the metal layer and the capacitive sensor element, the capacitive pressure transducer thus produces a variable capacitance value Ct. The total capacitance value at an input terminal of the capacitance/frequency converter is contributed by the capacitor and the capacitive pressure transducer. The capacitance/frequency output a control signal according to the total capacitance value to an electronic device to trigger a corresponding function.

Abstract: A robot and its component control module are disclosed. The robot includes a CPU and at least two component modules. Each component control module includes at least one actuator, at least one sensor, and a controller. The sensor is used for detecting outside information and correspondingly generating a sensing signal. The controller receives the sensing signal, controls the actuator to perform an action according to the sensing signal and sends the sensing signal to the CPU. The CPU receives the sensing signal, gets the outside information associated with the sensing signal, generates action instruction according to the outside information, and sends out the action instruction to the corresponding component control module. The controller of the corresponding component control module controls the actuator of the component control module to perform an action according to the action instruction. The robot responds quickly to outside information.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a communication system. Abstract: A lifelike covering is provided. The covering includes a flexible covering body and a flexible circuit board covered by the flexible covering. The flexible circuit board is configured with a plurality of sensors and at least one interface. Each of the sensors is configured for sensing an external input and generating a corresponding sensing signal. The interface is configured for transferring power from an external power source to the sensors, and for transferring the sensing signals to an external processing unit, so as to activate the external processing unit to perform a corresponding action control. The capacitive touch switch and control device in one embodiment includes one or more capacitive sensor elements, one or more resistors, a capacitor, a capacitance/frequency converter, and an antenna including a positive branch and a negative branch. The positive branch and the negative branch synchronously and correspondingly receive a pair of signals from the microprocessor, the pair of signals each undergoing a 180 degree phase shift relative to the other, for shielding the noise acted on the capacitive sensor elements. When any of the capacitive sensor elements is touched, the capacitance/frequency converter outputs a frequency signal to the microprocessor, the microprocessor outputs a control signal that corresponds to the frequency signal to an electronic device to trigger corresponding operations of the electronic device.
