Examples further include providing job sets of different sizes to a plurality of validators, each of the job sets comprising a consecutive group of one or more of the jobs in the queue at a given time and beginning with the job at the front of the queue at the given time.

Abstract: There is provided a system, method, and machine readable medium to deploying software into a computing environment by a processor. A model of the environment into which a model of software is to be deployed is provided. A plan for deploying the software into the computing environment is provided where the plan matches elements of the software to characteristics of the computing environment. The software is deployed into the computing environment according to the customized deployment plan.

Abstract: In an example, data from a source location is merged into a target location containing existing data, in which both the source location and the target location contain tuples of data. For each tuple in the source location, during a single operation, a determination is made as to whether there is a matched tuple in the target location that satisfies a predetermined condition. For each matched tuple that satisfies the predetermined condition, the matched tuple in the target location is updated with a count value that is equal to a count of the matched tuple in the source location and the target location. In addition, for each tuple that does not have a matched tuple that satisfies the predetermined condition, the unmatched tuple is inserted into the target location.

Abstract: In a method for managing a plurality of data entities, data pertaining to transactions by a plurality of users with respect to the data entities is collected and a collaborative filtering operation is applied on the data entities to determine similarity levels of the data entities with respect to each other. In addition, for at least one of the data entities, remaining ones of the data entities are ranked according to the determined similarities while discounting for popularities of the data entities. Moreover, identifications of at least another one of the data entities having the highest rankings to the at least one of the data entities are presented to a first user to recommend the at least another one of the data entities for use by the first user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing log data are provided. A set of data chunks is determined. Each data chunk is associated with a set of events, which are grouped according to a primary time dimension field of each event of the set of events. A metadata structure is determined for each of the data chunks. A subset of the data chunks is selected. Session record information is stored in various fields, such as key fields, value fields, and timestamp fields. Session information is described as keys and values in order to support query/lookup operations. A session table is associated with a filter, which describes a set of keys that can be used for records in that table. A session table is populated using data contained in security information/events. Rules are created to identify events related to session information, extract the session information, and use the session information to modify a session table. A session table is partitioned so that the number of records in each session table partition is decreased. A session table is processed periodically so that active sessions are moved to the current partition.

Abstract: Transport script generation based on a user interface script is disclosed herein. An example apparatus comprises a processor and a memory comprising machine-readable instructions. When executed by the processor, the machine-readable instructions cause the processor to determine if a first timestamp associated with a server is more recent than a second timestamp associated with a first transport script, the first timestamp representing a time when the server was last updated, the second timestamp representing a time when the transport script was generated. The processor is further to test the server by executing the second transport script.
