Abstract: The invention concerns a novel road structure whose bearing part on top of the ground comprises three successive layers of bituminous material bonded with one another, namely: a base layer which rests on the ground with optional insertion of a forming layer of thickness H.sub.i such that: 4 cm.ltoreq.H.sub.i .ltoreq.10 cm, and of elastic modulus: E.sub.i ; a median layer of thickness H.sub.m such that: 4 cm.ltoreq.H.sub.m .ltoreq.20 cm, and of elastic modulus E.sub.m such that: 2000 MPa<E.sub.m <8000 MPa; and a top layer of thickness H.sub.s such that: 4 cm.ltoreq.H.sub.s .ltoreq.10 cm, and of elastic modulus E.sub.s, such that elastic moduli of said layers comply with inequality relationships (a) and (b).
Abstract: The present invention relates to a machine utilizing road-making materials, in particular for the spreading of road pavement courses intended to be applied in courses of different thicknesses, particularly of asphalt concrete in ultrathin courses, of the type comprising a chassis equipped with rolling means and capable of being coupled to a traction means intended to ensure its movement over the ground, which comprises a hopper (16) for densification and distribution of said material, whose lower orifice (18) is disposed close to the ground, as well as a vibrating bar (38) mounted in the immediate vicinity of the rear transverse edge (40) of said hopper (16).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a waterproofing complex for the deck of a road structure, which is intended to receive a surfacing course, the said complex comprising:a bottom layer consisting of a mortar containing about 10 to about 15% of aggregate with a diameter of less than 80 .mu.m, and from about 7.5 to about 9.5% of a bituminous binder based on elastomers, the percentages being expressed by weight relative to the dry aggregate, anda top layer consisting of a bitumen rich in elastomers.It further relates to a process for the waterproof road lining of the deck of a structure.
