Patent number: 11695804Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for securing a network, for admitting new nodes into an existing network, and/or for securely forming a new network. As a non-limiting example, an existing node may be triggered by a user, in response to which the existing node communicates with a network coordinator node. Thereafter, if a new node attempts to enter the network, and also for example has been triggered by a user, the network coordinator may determine, based at least in part on parameters within the new node and the network coordinator, whether the new node can enter the network.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 2021Date of Patent: July 4, 2023Assignee: Entropie Communications, LLCInventors: Yoav Hebron, Na Chen, Zong Liang Wu, Ronald Lee

Patent number: 11407147Abstract: In various embodiments, a vapor condensation thermoplastic part finishing technique is provided that smooths and ensures color saturation of thermoplastic parts. The technique uses nonhazardous vapor condensation to rapidly heat a thermoplastic part to a temperature higher than its melting temperature. The part then may be cooled to a temperature lower than its melting temperature (and preferable lower than its glass-transition temperature. In some cases, evaporation may be employed to rapidly cool the part. Condensation and, where applicable evaporation, may be promoted by pressure changes to the nonhazardous vapor (e.g., increasing pressure to above atmospheric pressure and then decreasing pressure back to atmospheric pressure), exposure of the part to a separately-heated cloud of nonhazardous vapor (e.g., moving the part into and then out of the separately-heated cloud or injecting and then stopping injection of separately-heated vapor), or by other techniques.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2020Date of Patent: August 9, 2022Assignee: Entropie Systems, Inc.Inventor: Robert Kaiser

Patent number: 8842580Abstract: A method of communicating digitized speech from a transmitting forum participant comprises the step of receiving a data structure that includes said digitized speech. The data structure is analyzed to determine whether the digitized speech is redundantly represented in a plurality of forms in the data structure. A portion of the data structure is forwarded to a receiving forum participant, thereby communicating the digitized speech from the transmitting forum participant. In this method, when the digitized speech is redundantly represented in the data structure in a plurality of forms, the forwarding step includes a step of selecting one or more forms, based on a function, from the plurality of forms in the data structure. Furthermore, the portion of the data structure that is forwarded to the receiving forum participant includes data in the data structure that corresponds to each of the selected one or more forms.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 2011Date of Patent: September 23, 2014Assignee: Entropy Processing NV LLCInventors: Kyle Granger, Edward A. Publication number: 20140046503Abstract: A target-travel-path generating circuit calculates a target travel path along which a controlled object can travel in the future from a current controlled object position. An ideal-control-signal calculating circuit calculates a control profile to travel along the target travel path, and a difference calculating circuit calculates a difference between an ideal control magnitude and a current control magnitude. A controller controls an operation system based on a magnitude of the difference to assist a control operation and a control-operation-state of an operator, an environment-state, and a required operation-precision. The operator receives assistance corresponding to the magnitude of the difference from an ideal control state, the control-operation-state, the environment-state, and the required operation-precision. An outputted control-operation assistance control is suitable for conditions that characterize the operator state, the environment, and the controlled object.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2013Publication date: February 13, 2014Applicants: Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Entropy Control, Inc., Delft University of TechnologyInventors: Mark MULDER, David Abbink, Rene Van Paassen, Max Mulder, Frans Van Der Helm, Erwin R.
