Abstract: Carbon sequestration of greenhouse gases (CO.sub.2 and CH.sub.4) is effected through enhancement of plant growth using defoliation techniques with and without grazing animals. Processes and devices for measurement of the verifiable quantity of carbon sequestered are disclosed.
