  • Patent number: 10400448
Abstract: Reinforced panels include a layer of glass joined to a substrate to support the glass. Connectors are joined to the side of the substrate opposite the glass to enable the reinforced panel to be configured with and/or attached to a modular wall system. The glass can be backpainted prior to joining to the substrate, and/or a film can be included in the reinforced tile disposed between the glass panel and the substrate. A reinforced panel includes a conductive material disposed between a glass layer and a substrate to form a touch-responsive section. One or more intermediate layers disposed between the glass layer and the substrate are included. The one or more intermediate layers have sufficient elastic deformability so as to enable the reinforced panel to tolerate differences in thermal expansion between the substrate and the glass layer without resulting in cracking of the glass layer.

  • Patent number: 10328437
Abstract: In a charging time period T1, a dry electrostatic precipitator outputs DCON that is a current for charging a collection target object from a high voltage power supply. Subsequently, in a second period of time T2-2 after a first period of time T2-1 passes from a time that a charging pause time period T2 starts, the dry electrostatic precipitator outputs DCBC that is a current that is less than DCON and is greater than a current in the first period of time T2-1, from the high voltage power supply.

  • Patent number: 10301821
Abstract: A reconfigurable modular wall system having a plurality of different types of interchangeable wall modules with different types of compatible connection components, each connection component being configured to align with another connection component at an interface to form an interface connection for securing the connection components together with one or more universal connection interface members. The interface is configured for on-demand reconfiguration without laborious alteration to aspects of the walls system, modules, and components thereof. Reconfiguration of modules is facilitated by removing the universal connection interface member from the interface connection, thereby releasing the attachment mechanism and allowing rearrangement of the module(s). Replacement of the universal connection interface member secures the reconfigured modules in place in the rearranged wall system.

  • Patent number: 10289758
Abstract: A computer system can automatically resolve anomalies within an architectural design by receiving a digital architectural design comprising a first furniture sub-component, a second furniture sub-component, and a third furniture sub-component. The system can then identify one or more joints between the various furniture sub-components. After identifying the joints, the system can include identifying an anomaly at the intersection of the joints. The anomaly can be created when the joints fail to create a proper corner. The system can then automatically resolve the anomaly by changing the type of at least one of the joints within the digital architectural design.
