Patent number: 10777883Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide an antenna system including a first set of receive antenna elements and a second set of transmit antenna elements. Each receive antenna element is paired with one of the transmit elements. Paired receive and transmit antenna elements point in the same azimuthal direction, and the receive antenna element feeds its paired transmit antenna element. Each receive antenna element and each transmit antenna element has a phase center, and the phase centers of the receive and transmit antenna elements are all positioned substantially along the same axis. The receive and transmit elements are arranged in a phase-conjugate configuration such that, for each pair of receive and transmit antenna elements, those receive and transmit antenna elements are altitudinally spaced substantially the same distance from a plane through the antenna system.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2017Date of Patent: September 15, 2020Assignee: Envisioneering, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Owen Coleman, Mark Dorsey, Mark Parent, Gary Hoover, Phil Girardi

Patent number: 9806430Abstract: An antenna system having a transmit assembly with a first set of antenna elements for transmitting signals. Each antenna element in this first set may be disposed from a respective adjacent antenna element by a predetermined azimuthal increment and by a predetermined altitudinal increment. The antenna system further includes a receive assembly having a second set of antenna elements for receiving signals. Each antenna element in this second set may be disposed from a respective adjacent antenna element by a predetermined azimuthal increment and by a predetermined altitudinal increment. The predetermined azimuthal and altitudinal increments of the first set may be substantially similar to the predetermined azimuthal and altitudinal increments, respectively, of the second set.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2012Date of Patent: October 31, 2017Assignee: Envisioneering, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey O. Patent number: 5963296Abstract: An eyeglass construction includes a hinge joint and temple bars with spreadable jaws with apertures that receive frame hinge pins. A unique key-and-lock mechanism is provided for spreading the temple jaws and holding them apart while interchangeable temple bars are removed and installed. A separate key having a lobe-shaped shank with an elliptical profile corresponds to a similar aperture through a slot in each temple bar so that when the key is turned, the jaws at the end of the temple bar are spread apart and held in a retracted state. A simple internal leaf spring molded into the temple bar bears upon a cam surface of the eyeglass frame so that a positional biasing of the temple bar is achieved.Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 1998Date of Patent: October 5, 1999Assignee: J.
