Abstract: A hybrid pepper designated ‘E20S4216’ is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of hybrid pepper ‘E20S4216’ to the plants of hybrid pepper ‘E20S4216’ and to methods for producing a hybrid plant, and to methods for producing other pepper lines, cultivars or hybrids derived from the hybrid pepper ‘E20S4216’.
Abstract: Presented herein is a SP3D promotor sequence, capable of directing transcription of a downstream SP3D gene that is operably linked to said promotor sequence, wherein the promotor sequence is derived from a species of the Solanaceae family having a sympodial index of 2, for reducing sympodial index in plants having a sympodial index of 3 or more. Also presented herein are methods for providing plants of the Solanaceae family, in particular S. lycopersicum, having a reduced sympodial index including the steps of introducing into the genome of said plants a promotor sequence in operable linkage with a downstream SP3D gene, or introducing into said plants a gene construct, such that the sympodial index of the plant with the promotor sequence or gene construct is reduced as compared to the plant without said promotor sequence or gene construct, and to plants obtainable by said methods.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a plant, which is resistant to a pathogen of viral, bacterial, fungal or oomycete origin, wherein the plant has a reduced level, reduced activity or complete absence of DMR6 protein as compared to a plant that is not resistant to the said pathogen, in particular organisms of the Fungi or the phylum Oomycota. The invention further relates to a method for obtaining a plant, which is resistant to a pathogen of viral, bacterial, fungal or oomycete origin, comprising reducing the endogenous level or activity of DMR6 protein in the plant. In addition, the invention relates to the use of a DMR6 promotor for providing disease resistant plants.

Abstract: A new lettuce variety designated ‘E01K7719’ is described. ‘E01K7719’ is a red romaine cutting lettuce variety exhibiting stability and uniformity.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a new and distinctive hybrid tomato designated ‘E15B70004’, to the plants of hybrid tomato ‘E15B70004’, to the plant parts of hybrid tomato ‘E15B70004’ including the fruit, and to methods for producing a hybrid tomato using ‘E15B70004’ as a parent. The disclosure further relates to methods for producing a tomato plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic plants produced by that method and to the methods for producing other tomato lines derived from hybrid tomato ‘E15B70004’.
Abstract: The present invention relates to Cucumis melo plants that are resistant against Cucumber Vein Yellowing Virus (CVYV), and to plant parts derived thereof without the occurrence of necrotic symptoms. The invention further relates to methods of producing said plants, to CVYV-resistant plants obtainable by said methods, as well as to plant parts derived from said CVYV-resistant plants. Specifically, the present invention relates to a plant of the species Cucumis melo, comprising in its genome a genetic element, said genetic element comprising a Cucumber Vein Yellowing Virus (CVYV)-resistance conferring Quantitative Trait Locus (QTL), or a CVYV-resistance conferring part thereof, genetically linked to at least one molecular marker, wherein said marker is selected from a group consisting of E13/M48-259.69-P2, E16/M48-377.36-P2, E13/M48-261.30-P2 and E26/M62-076.8-P2.
